I updated OTA about 24 hours ago.
Got the usual 'Use a PC' message. I used CODE apt-get upgrade to figure out what's the problem. It was a couple of packages. CODE gstreamer-plugins-extra-bad, fmtx-enabler & libgles1 I had to uninstall Extra Codec Support, FM Radio, Tuxrace, gltron & BrainParty to remove those packages. After that it allowed me to update OTA.Had 60MB free on root & the update took almost 20 minutes. But I was relieved when it completed without incident. Didn't loose any data, just some settings reset. I was surprised that even my custom boot video was still there. This post has been edited by ongte: May 27 2010, 10:31 PM |
