QUOTE(liamlain @ May 27 2010, 12:12 PM) still scare to touch ths step, scare will brick my device. dont be scare, brick ur device is nothing. u can always reflash it back to restore the functionality in case something goes wrong. trust me, i've been the worst. yesterday is seems the bad day for me, but in the end, i learn something new.i hv question about update firmware via OTA and NSU. yesterday i update firmware at app manager, after update complete my application still ther, so i thnk is it update via OTA the application will still maintain, and NSU will delete all the application(like format) so if i dnt use flasher software to format my device, can reinstall firmware via NSU?(coz this is much more easy for me) updating via OTA and NSU is basically the same, u still need to update via NSU in the end. IMHO, flashing using flasher is really quick, less-hassle if u know what are u doing. but as there are many guides on how to flash by using flasher, including the one aspire2006 put it at FP, even inexperienced user can do it btw, if u still scare u might brick ur n900, updating via NSU is 'safest'. |

actually to OC is very simple if u have all the files ready
first is the fiasco file u put in my document. When u need it copy to root then access X-terminal type root then copy paste the command ( i already saved it in txt file.) done |

Maybe Eiraku can provide the OC on demand type. Really nice, you can overclock as you want and go back to stock as you want. You can even configure your own settings and clock speed.
The overclock and restore to stock can be done via a touch of a button/widget on the desktop, sick!!!!! You can also place a widget to show the CPU frequency (max) to know what's your clock speed set, like meLi Desktop. I'm using Queen Beecon widget to do it, the process is pretty complicated and take some time to configure, and as Eiraku mentioned, it takes up more resources, so Eiraku method will be more easy on the resources: Jakiman Overclocking Guide with Queen Beecon widget: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=595582&postcount=774 |

Yup, Eiraku method should be simple and easy to implement, plus it's lightweight.I followed Jakiman's guide with Queen Beecon, the widget itself requires some time to understand and learn to use, powerful widget, very nice. Took me a while to configure it properly. Maybe Eiraku can provide the step by step for his method? Hehe. It's nice to be able to OC on demand as you need and switch back to stock when it's not required. |

I dont see 3G video call option yet but tried the Skype Video Call using the front camera.. blur2 a bit but quality similar to any vga 3g front video cam..
To enable the Skype Video Call icon, make a normal Skype Voice Call first, then click on Call (while inside the call) and click Enable Video or Turn On Video.. |
