Only problem is Screamyx uses Dynamic IP, hence the DynDNS thing. It was a problem I have been scratching my own head about for many years now, surprisingly solved by a search to access my PC from the N900.

But I do feel that we'll need at least LTE packet speeds to be able to REALLY do mobile remote access with decent smoothness. Oh well, hope the next Internet Tablet has LTE (and that Meego is still desktop grade powderful and not just some dumbed down OS running ON linux)... biggrin.gif

You can convert garmin POI to text using this website.... I had tried and able to get the txt and convert to sygic POI..but no luck to importat it..

Yea, but actually, just check your Internet IP everyday before you leave home, then most of the time, the IP won't change so you can still VNC/Remote to your PC.
Else go for Dynamic DNS, or subscribe for static IP, haha

aiya... when i post up how to setup fmms with pic no one want to see... sigh... i specially did up for digi.. but aspire didnt seem to wanna post it up... sigh.. i think its in v1 thread... zzz waste time my time only...

Anyway, so far, for VNC, if you check daily your IP, it's still OK la. Sometimes I notice the same IP maintain for quite long. Another way is, disconnect and re-connect everyday, get the new IP when you leave.
AFAIK, for Dynamic IP, they don't allow the same IP to be used for long sessions.

Use another phone to activate first then put the simcard back into your nokia n900
