Yep, you using AP set?

If it tells you that, you:

a) Have insufficient Rootfs space (around 56mb is needed)
b) Have the libgles1-sgx package installed (comes with brain party - it will break with PR1.2, must be removed)

Clear the above, you should be able to OTA.

Can concur, nothing yet for global firmware.

Preparations for OTA done, Titan's kernel and other offending apps uninstalled, rootfs freed, repos disabled. Time to shleep.

Titan v34 and v37 seems to work well with PR1.2, not much problems reported.

My initial installation slow/long due to my one stupidity, but after figuring out where i went wrong, managed to do the whole process in 5 mins. OC at 900mhz, everything seems fine.

Does anyone know if potrait can be enabled for the desktop?? any idea how to do it??

Nearly everything installed, no problems yet... Going to Titan's kernel v37 before I mod my Conversations app, change sounds, create OC/UC shortcuts, install emacs/zim/fcron again... biggrin.gif

Glad I re-flashed the hard way... Ummm, delish... biggrin.gif

VERRRRY simple actually... Create a overclock.desktop file in /usr/share/applications/hildon/ containing the following

CODE

[Desktop Entry]
Version=1.0
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=OverClock
Icon=oc
Exec=sudo kernel-config load "whatever profile you wanna run"
Type=Application


Don't forget to dump a 48x48 PNG image in /usr/share/icons/scalable/hildon (or something like that) with the name oc.png for the icon.

Repeat for underclock.desktop, with another icon and the same "exec" line loading ANOTHER of Titan's profile.

For your own customized speed profile:

1) Jump into xterm, run sudo gainroot
2) Load a profile
3) Run "limits <whatever number> <whatever number>"
4) Run "kernel-config save <name your own profile>".
5) Edit the overclock and underclock.desktop files to match the new profiles.

And yes, the conversations widget is broken, as with the email widget. Get updates from HAM to correct.

Also, for the 30th time, there is no video calling on PR1.2, only video-through-skype that requires an internet connection.

Through Skype only. Contact must have Skype account and must be online... hmm.gif

There's NO NORMAL 3G CALL... Unfortunately. Hope the fMMS guy goes to do f3GCall next... biggrin.gif

Nope, using Sialcom broadband so I really don't care if it connects whenever it wants to (except for the fact that it eats batteries, but that's what Autodiscon is for). What to do, these are the dangers of the "Always Connected" phones of today... sweat.gif

Anyhow, you using "polite", "rude" or "havoc" for fMMS? "Havoc" does the job the cleanest (no MMS AP, no disconnect, reconnect) but is an ugly hack and has a 0.001% probability of messing up your phone.

Back on my 750mhz Starving config... Mmmmm smoothness... biggrin.gif

Only prob with QBW is that it's darned resource intensive, thats's why I only use 2 widgets nowadays and use desktop shotcuts to overclock. Now my desktop jams less often.

But darned, huge free rootfs, gila smoothness with even slight overclocking... if it jams up less I'll be perfectly happy with PR1.2 TBH.

OTA = Migration issues it seems. I manually reflashed and even without reflashing eMMC there's no problems what so ever.

Hmmm, need to check. Using modded lock screen so I wonder if the notifications will show up.

Currently having fun reinstalling stuff, though my Kyureii-Tan got stuck once in terminal when I played around in /usr/share/applications/hildon (taking care of that darned hide and seek Transmission icon, someone should take care of it within the package itself).

Rebooted and everything's fine again.

Now enjoying smoothness again + the ooomph of Droid Sans Bold replacement fonts everywhere within the system... brows.gif

And yeah, the VKB sucks, though IMHO it sucks less then the previous one... But sucks bad nonetheless... biggrin.gif

Thank god for small mercies like the Hard KB... biggrin.gif
