Additional: Registry cleanup...

sry cant help much but i did get that error a few days back...
what i did was clean up my registry ( very dangerous if u dunno how to )
and then things got better and smoother too
about reinstalling the OS is also another way if registry method is difficult for u TODA ~ 

yea that is full clean up... but if u wan to do manual 1 by 1 clean is difficult
and i don't think its 100% ... but for the time being its ok
i did this method everytime and the prob just surfaces 1 or twice in 4 months when ur registry become dirty again
just hit clean up and u are gud to go again

Try not to multiple program run and force shut down. It would damage the HD. Because when forced shutdown, the HD point of detecting will freeze almost immediately on that specific point which wud cause bad sector if prolonged usage as such. Try maintain the system integrity by regular shutdown and maintainance every week as i believe most ppl leave the com running with out shutdown (applicable to those relevant). Anyway a standard HD has 1mil write life b4 the spring snapped. Tho may not reach till there but constant usage will wear it down further. Anyhow be wary of forced shutdown as the sudden energy lost and reemergence of energy wud probably short some of the mobo circuitry. The concept its like water hoist. What happens if you held the end tight and open the water, it gush out as due the preasure and which could apply on the com side. Anyway just try out the alternative and if all else failed, go to the techzone and ask those experts there.
