So mother maiden name means mother name, right? I just don't understand why cimbclicks cannot verify me (they said wrong name) after i told them my mother maiden name through the phone after my online banking got block. Even if it's wrong or anything or i fill in wrongly before, can i go to the bank and retrieve this using my atm card and bank book or some form of identification?

Could you have put your mum's surname? Or did your mum has an english name? Anyway, I think you need to go to the branch if all fails.

If not mistaken, few years ago happened once also my tac got prob, called customer service, then the same ques cnt pass, but after confirming other things, they let me pass. Just forgot what i put for that. Can i just call over and ask this or need to ask at the branch there?

Just ring up again. You'll get someone else. The call center couldn't have only 1 person answering the phone. If they ask you a question you don't know the answer to, tell them the truth.
I've been asked, what's the address on the statement? I told them I can't remember if it's my house or office, so I gave them both.
I've also been asked how much was the last payment on the credit card. I couldn't remember. Told them that. Asked them to ask me another question instead.
It's not some game or exam where you have to get every answer exactly right. Just remember their objective. They only want to confirm that you are who you say you are. That's all.

I think malaysian don't understand the term "maiden name". It is the surname of a female before she got married (before she became Mrs Tan, she was Miss Chan). It is not mother's full name or whatever. While studing in Canada, I had always filled my mum' surname. Here in Malaysia most of the time, I been told to write my mother's full name by some bank clearks.

Malaysia is different with other countries whereby when the female gets married, their name remains the same. Unlike other countries that part of their names will be changed and follow the husband.
