QUOTE(Palmwalker001 @ Oct 14 2014, 08:55 AM) The traffic will be much more better if govt/SILK highway operator allow access road from Bkt Sg Long link to SILK, so that we need not to struck in front of traffic light between border of Sg Long &BMC. is it because nobody want to foot the cost of constructionDo anyone know what is the reason given by govt/SILK not allow to access road? |

QUOTE(Palmwalker001 @ Oct 14 2014, 09:10 AM) i dont have a linkdon't have reliable resources to back my statement I know no such thing as free lunch if a development intends to sell well, the more access the better does not take a genius to know how infra system work in local community, Municipal level, DBKL, MPKJ, MPSJ, some one has to foot the cost take a look at Kajang 2, few developer chip in to build an access Sg Long...any initiates? |

QUOTE(Palmwalker001 @ Nov 3 2014, 01:44 PM) This is the reply from Silk Holdings Berhad on access road from Bukit Sungai Long to Silk Highway: thanks for sharing thisIn the early days we have already approved for the developer to build/construct the access with the condition they agree and provide an amount for the maintenance charges imposed by us. This amount is to be paid to SILK for maintenance of the access which is inside our Right of Way until the end of concession period. The maintenance charges inclusive repair of any damages at the access, cleaning, improvement etc. The developer disagreed with the amount imposed and has reviewed back the design to reduce the maintenance charges. To-date we have received the latest "reviewed detail drawing" and we are in the process to calculate on the amount to be imposed for maintenance charges inclusive GST. Once finalised, we will request their agreement and may proceed on-site development. We are expecting that all technical matters inclusive the maintenance charges and finally on-site physical construction will be settled by the end of year 2015. looks like not easy to get this done no one willing to foot the bill |

Sg long is an established town by itself, banks, eateries all have
and short drive to BMC if you want to buy more goods some already rooted here, so no right or wrong I see BMC more vibrant, seeing both Sg Long with new chinese school, UTAR both BMC and Sg Long will be complementing each other well |
