i did put it to the cybertroopers here to built flyover but... sg long is still part of kajang ... what to do..actually developers can built more than 2 access road i guess just the main high way is grand saga all also cannot di..

yes..small part of damai perdana terrace house and town hse, those earlier phase will be affected...
sure the line go ahead..compulsory acquisition of those unit will do..! for the benefit of mass..

Najib stated in Budget 2015 RM1.6 billion will be allocated to build East Klang Valley Expressway, that highway behind Desa Budiman @ Sg Long...I though this project has been halted after receiving numerous protest by environmentalist...this supposed to be build by Ahmad Zaki right? any body has any information?

SHL never learn, or too stingy to learn.. residents need to make a big U-turn if travel back from KL using silk highway.

Boss, I don't where you get your info, perhaps can show the link? Why there is no sungai long interchange? The highway just stop at BMC? AZRB build the highway just let people in BMC/Sungai Long to silk highway in one-way traffic?     

As far as I know, this highway have the following interchange:

1.) UIAM interchange
2.) Ukay perdana interchange
3.) Ampang interchange
4.) Hulu Langat interchange
5.) Bandar Mahkota Cheras interchange
6.) Sungai Long interchange

Please look at the purpose of KLORR highway - "In addition KLORR connects Kajang to Hulu Langat via the SILK Highway."

so far sungai long and cheras mahkota just got 1 road in n out,  traffic there really bad when morning wanna go kl or pj working

Now from sungai long, after the junction to BMC, you already can turn into Silk mah, but only can go to Kajang/Semenyih. So, why not build a flyover so that from sungai long can go into silk directly that can head to Mines/KL?

Don't think SILK will agree to the U-turn proposal before Sg Long Toll near Twin Palm as this company has loss before taxation RM16.5 million in 2013 (loss in year 2011 & 2012 was RM19.1 million & RM19.6 million) until it decided to sell the toll business to Road Builder (IJM subsidiaries) for RM395 million cash.

After the tunnel in twin palm establish, I think hardly Silk will allow you to do so as well..   

Of course, unless there is a "decent offer" to Silk loh..

If i recall correctly. this thread had discussed about the original connection plan to silk highway, which is nearby the factory area (after Honda Showroom)...

Lol... can be done, but the curvature of the road need to be altered, as something similar in twin palm, from my perception, not cheap though..

if money is the only problem to built this road..i think noi ssue to have some fund raising activity to get donation from the sg long residents...especially those staying at bukit sg long......many of them are cash rich bosses...

this road definitely can reduce some traffic flow at the sungai long main road...

May be she is referring to the project next to SL7 as photo below, I believe this project should be in BMC instead of Bandar Sungai Long

As far as I know, Sg Long Golf Club only upgrade recently, look quite ok.

Anyway comparison need to be made against similar residential area nearby instead of far away places.

Let forget about small taman, there are four BANDAR in Southern Cheras ie Bandar Sg Long, Bandar Mahkota Cheras, Bandar Damai Perdana and Bandar Tun Hussein Onn.

Sg Long is the only Bandar has golf club somemore it is a only golf club endorsed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus.

In term of road condition and light at night, Sg Long is far better than BDP & BTHO, slightly better than BMC.
In term of commercial activity, BMC is better than BDP, Sg Long and BTHO.

For Chinese school, only BDP has it, Sg Long only have a 90% complete but not sure when can open SRJK (C ),  neither BMC & BTTHO  has it.

I personally think UTAR is a selling point besides the above, never underestimate the purchasing power of 10,000 strong varsity students, property value for both commercial and residential property sure go up.
