No, most Sg Long residents would prefer to see UTAR go away

The Biz ppl on the other hand welcomes UTAR to stay and expand

if utar go away sure manyak biz die. room rental also die straight straight.
manyak condo/apartment at SL mostly designed for student stay.

Sg Long has been traditionally the higher class segment of South Cheras.

These ppl prefer a quieter environment and they were happy the way Sg Long was before UTAR

After UTAR came, the traffic jam followed but UTAR is still tolerated cos perhaps majority of students are Chinese. If they were Nikka, am sure the residents would be more unhappy

Of course, those who bought aoartments / condo for investment is another matter but long term residents in Sg Long would not mind UTAR going away.

This is one I gather from the older residents there

Next Tamam got AEON - Mahkota Cheras and Cheras Selatan

Within 5 to 10 min from your house u can get

1) Banks
2) Various Hawker Food
3) Pasar Malam

Its quite quiet at night, no pubs to disturb the night

Not sure about it but those multimillionaire definately want privacy & exclusiveness feel, what exclusiveness you can expect when your bungalow (20+ units) is so near to a medium cost condo.

SHL really need to think hard about it.
