Is it really jammed over there? How is the environment?

during school holiday, very smooth. when sg long primary school ready, it will relief the traffic jam. but at the same time, alot people moving in, may getting worse again someday.

waiting for gov/highway company to solve the issue is dont know wait until when. better use our vote.

yup, both BMC & sg long exit also jam....  morning 6.30 sg long Q start from Maybank traffic light, take 10-15 minutes to reach Grand saga HW,  BMC side take 20 minutes from jusco traffic light to grand saga.

I will move to TP.
Really wish traffic condition there can get better.

let BMC have all the crowd is ok.  i just drive there if i wanted to go to a more happening area.  and usually i prefer peaceful environment

hmm ... that's of course top priority too bro.  in fact last time we choose sg long over BMC also because sg long some how look & feel safer. But of course, sometimes u can't guarantee the safety issues one.  Just recently BMC started to have those gated community.  When i was there 5 years ago, very limited choices for gated community there.  And doesn't mean we have gated community also we are safe lo ... the management also very important.  And most importantly is our police man loo ... hope they able to do more petrol in our housing area especially when we are away to work.  Time to have a better government? LOL!

Stay in Cheras now,  think to find a property in Sg Long / BMC for investment.. but the rental still quite low.

Only can wait for the price to appreciate.. 
One of my colleague bought a house in Sg Long last year, 450k, now asking around 550-600k. Not bad though.

Still better than my colleague.. his repayment is almost 2k monthly.. but rental only 1k.

but is good for own stay   

buy GnG, alarm, cctv, grill, security doors....... malaysia mar

still....choose the right environment 1st, GnG, no corner, no last row, no construction site/ indon kampung nearby
safety for the family is top priority, then only maintenance +security fees

first i think u got to choose a place that got the so called "security", either their management good or bad, u can't know until u stay there.  Or u can choose to be their committee if u willing to improve their management. Then of course for landed house, the basic things u need would be grill, house alarm, cctv, security door and a guard dog if you are non muslim.  And, even if u plan to renovate your house, try to maintain low profile on the exterior lo, inside u want to put gold toilet bowl also nvm.

But i think it's all depend on individual need.  it can be quite costly and need some minor hacking to install these doors.
