Off topic a bit... but just wanted to share the good food that we can find in bdr sg long. I tried this thai food restaurant yesterday and surprisingly they taste so good! not sure was it only yesterday or usually the shop is also empty. hopefully their business can sustain and we can enjoy good thai food within our neighbourhood.

By connecting to Silk Highway, Bkt Sg Long and Taming Indah residents is the direct beneficiaries, the distance to home is so much nearer, property value definately will increase...their house are all G&G separate with main road with high wall the noise should be minimum.

By opening this access road also bring benefit to Silk Highway as it encourage more usage of their highway and "u-turn" facility...

This is the reply from Silk Holdings Berhad on access road from Bukit Sungai Long to Silk Highway:

In the early days we have already approved for the developer to build/construct the access with the condition they agree and provide an amount for the maintenance charges imposed by us. This amount is to be paid to SILK for maintenance of the access which is inside our Right of Way until the end of concession period. The maintenance charges inclusive repair of any damages at the access, cleaning, improvement etc. The developer disagreed with the amount imposed and has reviewed back the design to reduce the maintenance charges.

To-date we have received the latest "reviewed detail drawing" and we are in the process to calculate on the amount to be imposed for maintenance charges inclusive GST. Once finalised, we will request their agreement and may proceed on-site development. We are expecting that all technical matters inclusive the maintenance charges and finally on-site physical construction will be settled by the end of year 2015.

malaysian got a very bad habit...always want to drive and park in front of the school....in sg long, the parent park the car in front of the tuition center even they know got car behind them...same as BMC, they just simply park beside the main road....
