No wonder they r rushing to clear the debris lar....my regular tractor operator was hired by a malay guy with promised higher than market rate + working overtime till 10pm, hope he will get his full payment

Where is the school? Near Utar? Can someone gives exact location? ARe they removing both saga tolls or one only?

PM announced give 4.5 millions to build d Chinese school. For tols, will close from kajang to KL rm1. KL to kajang close the 90cent tol.

The new Chinese skool is next to the sekolah kebangsaan sg long.

PM: 2 tolls along Cheras - Kajang highway to be abolished midnight

KUALA LUMPUR: The RM1 toll at the Batu 9 Cheras - Kajang Highway heading to Kuala Lumpur and the 90sen toll at Batu 11 heading to Kajang will be abolished from midnight Thursday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced.

He said that the abolishing of the toll would half the toll cost for the 120,000 commuters using the Grand Saga Cheras-Kajang Highway daily.

Why not abolished all 4 tolls!!!!

Wow ! Am I dreaming ?

So, now it will only be paying one way...like those on Silk toll. Good to save 50% toll daily. Hope they wont increase other taxes to compensate for the toll.

So now it is officially toll free all the way to kl city from sungai long n a 4.5mil funded Chinese school n a new hospital ....

why toll free? Still has to pay 90 sens down and Rm1.00. Those at 9th mile gets toll free. Mahkota cheras is full toll free?

Not one way. Both ways still have to pay, but instead of 2 tolls one way, it's now 1 toll per way.

It is actually back to the beginning 1997-8??when first stop was 60 sens and 2nd stop was 40 sens or something.

They will find a way to compensate Grand Saga either by paying them with rakyat's money or extending the tol's period. It's a zero sum game.

But reducing the toll will be good news for people stay there.....good that they can now save more money on toll, but normally, it will resulting higher congestionl.

I just bought unit at Cypress Condo. Its on top floor, move in condition with plaster ceiling and not facing other unit. Its only RM290k, same price for bear unit. Even bank said this unit shouldnt be RM290k. I think I got good deal.
