I really pity those ppl. 10 days is ridiculous ... imagine they got newborn baby, need to keep the feeding bottle hygiene and etc. Sigh ... Hope they will get their water soonest!

oyup, will pass by taman rakan-rakan which have some old shops & low cost terrace house, but surrouding Cheras Idmana 2 was Veridian Semi-D, Cheras Tropical Semi-D & superlink house, those are high-end residential. Get to the point, I really don't have such patience to get stuck in the jam for 1 or half an hour, its really kill me
*
since you are in the midst of surveying, hope you will finally get a house that you dream of. But, just wondering, you mean 30mins - 1 hour from PW to where? Coz if you calc the distance or time from PW to Taman Rakan, i think less than 10 mins kut? The rest of the journey no matter where u stay, it's still the same jam jam. I would said PW is still better because at least you got more alternatives, such as u can access to BMC from GoodView there, or, u can by pass the jam to SILK, make a u-turn at twin palm, or, u can even use the so called proposed new access road from Sg long to SILK (just donno when they going to open this la)... lol

I am not a guru here la ... but i am just sharing with you from my point of view as a Sg Long residence. haha ... I do visit the newly developed houses in Taman Rakan there, once i think of passing through that road, I already turned off. icon_rolleyes.gif

I've noticed most of the residence in Sg Long had been G&G dy, even the old old phases also gated up.
BTW, where is this Sec 5 ?
*
some G&G la ... but u just show ur international access card (ur palm) then u can enter also for some area. If u r driving a nicer car, no need to show ur palm also they quickly open the barrier for u and let u in on top of that extra free you a salute sign from the guard somemore. Some times really don't understand these guards sad.gif

at least 10 years i say echo hill to up. it is malay area majority... 10 years monthly paying 2.4k service loan assuming dude bought for 405k that tops up to RM288,000.00.
rent out half 5 years out still RM144,000.00 think of the chances.. can rent out bo echo hill for 2.4 k monthly for DSL outskirt? possible maa?

BMC baru rent rm1.5k like that leh.. or better 1.8k.. DSL..

the bypass cannot make echo hill nearer that TTDI groove lahh. TTDI GROOVE JUST NEXT to cheras kajang highway...

BMC AND sungai long or twin palms all even nearer....

section 5 BMC all the way till end from fah mu lan.. then turn right.. choontian project.. initial selling price 450k now flipped to 780k... BMC... echo hill also want to flipp d same 405k flip to 750k upon VP.. (2 years only) by 2015.. finish..
*
wah ... dulu - dulu this BMC sec5 only selling at 200-ish right? The ppl there really huat leow! rclxms.gif

complain also no use la ... even u changed the security firm also no use ... is actually the residences that staying there is important. If all also responsible and pay the security fees then can really enhance the security system. I myself just pay the security fees but never really contributed to the committee meeting and etc. So, i cannot complain too much ... haha doh.gif

Why didn't contribute committee cannot complaint?  hmm.gif  hmm.gif  hmm.gif
*
Coz by right if i wanted to improve the security system in our own housing area, i should myself contribute to the committee first like become one of the committee myself. sometimes i see the security guard not doing their job well, i really want to open my window and ask them to do it properly but then later i worried they recognize my car plate and plan some surprise for me later. lol ...

hope that those semi-retired or retired uncle aunty can keep up their good work for the time being and i will take over next time when i have more $ to spare. lol thumbup.gif

Better ease the traffic in Sg Long first, widen the access road along the Sg Long to Grand Saga h/way, now patched the road half way only

totally agree on this one.

Btw, anyone know where exactly is the fire last night? I saw the fire from SILK highway but it looks like somewhere behind taman rakan there?

I was out for dinner and by the time Im back, bomba is already there putting out the flame. Im not speculating anything but I do suspect the fire started  due the current dry spell and a regular bunch of youngster who like to chill at the area at nite ...
*
based on my source, they also said it was due to the youngsters playing fire crackers there. but i am just wondering if still got ppl playing fire crackers after CNY? I thought that area is supposed to be some kind of empty land? what are those youngsters doing there? jadi monyet? sweat.gif

Actually that spot is the access road to TBS and TBS2, its quite and breezy at nite so some youngster like to lepak there, I do see our gomen enforcer chill out there at times. Playing crackers at this time of the year ? I doubt so. More likely started by a ciggy bud throw over the dried bushes.
*
i see ...

So guys, have u guys started to store some water in your house?

Do you all think the upcoming MRT expansion, Balakong / Tmn Koperasi / Hussien Onn, will further boost the 'exclusivity' and property price of Tmn Rakan / Sg Long / BMC?
*
actually where to find more information on this expansion? Like what's their proposed route, when are they going to start constructions or everything are just still in planning stage only? If they just "talk" only, then donno when will become reality lo ... haha
