As long you got your dream house, that matters the most. So you got yourself a DST intermediate or corner unit at 800K? Is it a subsale or new property?

Yeah right. There is nothing like a slow drive in Lum Chang's open buggy car around the compound. The landscaping and flora and fauna is one of he most beautiful I have seen. Huge pull factor. Lets see:

- immediate access to highway, no trafiic lights, no passing by old houses and hundreds of bumps
- space ship guardhouse / entrance statement
- classy full featured club house including infiniti pool, badminton/basketball courts, jac, gym, cafe etc
- high end imported Kompan playground (250K!)
- ponds / water features
- linear park with external gym equipment
- full high wall perimeter, cctv, guard patrols, and even checkpoints/barricades inside. Damn, they even got soem Rottweiler

Perfect for raising kids. Damn those rich kids nowadays...

What Twin palms or Sg Long in general has got going for it:

- C180 lifestyle commercial
- Columbia Asia
- Jusco Cheras Selatan (biggest Jusco mall in Msia?)
- Jusco BMC
- The Mines 8 mins away
- long term, MRT stations at Taman Cuepacs and Hussein Onn
- High-end bungalows and SDs launching every where (Taming, Wira, BSL5, Dijaya's Tropicana Sg Long)
- vibrant BMC and Sg Long townships
- Pheonix Plaza now taken over and being converted to lifestyle mall and hotel
- Saujana Impian and Sg Long golf courses
@x!! Lum chang better pay me for this...

Biggest jusco mall in malaysia is at Bukit Tinggi, Klang.....smile.gif

Good news for Sg Long residences, the proposed alternative access road through Bsl been approved by certain authority, expected will be ready to use within this year.. Bur still, the residence have to pay Rm1 for toll to use that road.. But assure a smoother driving experience..

The local council is discussing with SILK to make a U-turn before toll right now. Hopefully can get it.

Looks like that.
But then again: for wind to come into an empty cave, it's not without reasons one...

Certain resident association has actually checked with SILK, the access can be used in Nov (Tanming & Ki Huat need to joinly build a 50 m access road to connect).

As for the chinese school thingy, I think even MCA's CSL also cannot say for sure ler...

But I heard that it will be finalized in a year, pending the formal documentation. Can't tell who but i believe is a reliable source.

Seems like a lot of development around Mahkota Cheras, Sg. Long, Cheras Selatan and Bandar Tun Hussein Onn area...

Anyone heard about Tropicana Sg. Long development by Dijaya?
I have visited the site, which have access road through Taman Rakan, and then, through Taman Suria...
Not sure if they have entrance via Silk Highway..

Anyone has more info?

don't think there will be any access from SILK to tropicana.
not in the next 5 years at least IMHO.

Hmm.... then, the residents of Tropicana Cheras has to go through the old development Taman Rakan, before accessing their million-dollar homes...
Somemore the roads are not really pleasant...

The less than pretigious access to tropicana cheras (latest name given by DIJAYA) is its biggest drawback.

Unless they can fix the entrance to Tropicana Cheras via Silk highway...
Saw from google map that there are some construction work (road access) from Bukit Sg. Long towards Taman Rakan.
Probably they are building something similar with the tunnel road in Twin Palms.

due to the access road, moving to tropicana would be regarded by current sg long /MC residents as downgrading despite it being "tropicana", i think.

Hahaha... probably... unless they really do something about the access road, landscaping, lots of freebies, good designs etc.

No la.
The works are by bukit sg long developer ki huat, doing some levelling to build more houses near the retention pond.

Btw, there will be a boutique development coming up (claimed to be over looking twin palms) very soon.
3 storey semi-d, 70+ units, 4000+ b/u, 2 types, from 1.3 / 1.6 mil.
