Got into an accident last Saturday. Broke my collar bone, and had to undergo a surgery to reattached them using metal plates. The doc said it would be 3 months++ before I could even bench anything. *sigh*

Hey man. At least you're safe, that's the most important thing. I think I saw your picture before, you're still young, got a long way more in body building. Just wait out the 3 month rest period. Don't risk anything permanent man.

Hey bro, sorry to hear that. It sucks to be injured. But you're not alone, I'm not allowed any training until further notice due to my back. unsure.gif

Something mild, standing at about 16% body fats. At least according to the electronic thingy, it has been consistent though.

on the 19th of September

Similar post as off yesterday

I know different lightings make it unfair to compare, but a lost of total 4kgs in between 4 weeks should justify something.

Front dare not show yet since it's mild, and need to get some water and shed a little bit more fats. No more energy, cycling ketogenic diet is killing me, time to reintroduce fat burners? tongue.gif

Not-so 'progress' after 2/3 months off actual training with nothing but pullups. And sure enough, my BF% has shot up too, I'm at about 20% right now.

I have a question.
I know its bad to roll your shoulders when you do shrugs... but what about alternating shrugs to the back and to the front? meaning.... i do one set of shrugs behind the back.... and another set of shrugs holding the dbs in front of my thighs... and another set with dbs at the side of my body. and then i repeat all 3 variations again.

am doing about 12 reps per set, with a 2-5 sec pause at the top of the rep depending on how fatigued i feel. is this okay (the alternating angles) or do i still risk injury?

I do shrugs on shoulder day as the last exercise.
*
hmmm...
Why not try this, do it on a smith machine for the first time first...
Close grip barbell shrug, then normal barbell shrug, then wide grip barbell shrug then barbell shrugs behind the back...
u dont have to go super heavy on this, just high reps...

actually im not really sure, u have to really see which suits ur body more...
some people grow when they do super high rep but med weights, some with just really heavy shrugs...
but if one doesnt workout, change it. just my 2cent.
