just to highlight to you, you have answered ur own question.

SOHO has bathroom/shower, wet kitchen while Office, office suite, SOFO, SOVO dun have.
you can chose to live in SOHO but not the others
most normal office do not include facilities eg pools, gym, game room etc but SOHO, SOFO does.
condo/apartment /normal office usually bigger build up and higher monthly maintenance fee..
it is all up to individual preferences...
I'm looking at SOHO props coz I dig the loft style open space where one can set up a work space and reserve a small space for sleep.
I've this conception that SOHO, at the base, is residential, just that the design of the property is more suitable if one want's to set up a small work place for freelance works. e.g. Subang Soho.
But the other day I called up on Prima Avenue Soho, they said it's actually office, which means in actuality it's base is in office, and well, you can't 'live' there.
Hence the confusion of the term SOHO. If soho is used just to describe the facilities provided as lucerne said, then whether the property can be 'lived in', will depend on how the developer allows it, right?
