Hi Public,

I am new to android. I have read the threads regarding ROM of HTC. Currently I am using Magic 1.5 ROM. Can you all please share me which one suppose is the one to upgrade where I see many version and many names.

Can someone help me to ease my problem?

Also please provide me steps to do this upgrade.

htc site doesnt have the upgrade like we having outside by 3rd party

Try Sanpei Legend Dump with Sense ROM on xda-developers.com
But there is a catch, the camera driver isn't ready yet so you will miss out the camera functionality.

You have to root your Magic 1st..

Owh, yeah!!
There are procedures to check your motherboard version..
Whether 32A or 32B..
To download correct recovery image..
don't worry, just follow the procedures..
And you might get 2.1 on your Magic!!

Yes, there's 2.1 ROM for Magic which's Manup’s Eclair 2.1 ROM..
But only for 32B Magic.. Sorry..

what shall i need?
1) I need RA recovery they call right
2) i need nandroid is it for backup.
3) a ROM any.

how bout SPL, radio? shall i concern it too?? or it been covered if i do above.

what the sync uses in the flash?? hey, flash means i install the ROM right? i confuse with the terms lately...

Look for anything that is easy for you to understand and apply.... even though most of it are jargons for new user....

Guys, how do i backup magic? I have lost track of the thread in the forum. pls guide me through. Im startin learning it. 1) I do backup 2)i root to save in recovery files in SD 3) lastly i load into any ROM i want. Correct me if i am wrong.
