i just read through the whole thread and managed to solve my low id problem liaousing 4242. uploading bout 10kb/s and downloading for bout 15kb/s.

i find that whenever i try to close emule it'll hang or stop responding and it takes me bout 10 minutes just to close it by force via task manager.
