U must "STICK" to DonkeyServerNo2 or DonkeyServerNo1. All other servers are useless.

How to do that?

Sorry i can't help u as i "hate" eMule(s). I use eD2K.

i've tried eMule(s) a couple of times. With so many versions/mods released, i found that the download rate is dissapointing. I have to wait for about an hour to get full DL speed (that's 110 KB/s) and the configuration is totally not user friendly.

eMule file search engine result is somehow "little" compared to eD2K. Most of the rare files found in eD2K could/might not be available in eMule(s). Bare in mind that I don't use eD2K official release. Instead i install eD2K Pro 2000 "lite" version which makes me able to obtain UNLIMITED DL rate regardless of how much i upload (as per my attachment)

playsafe69...have u tried eD2K Pro "lite" version? What's ur comment?

I'm using eD2K from http://C2P.6x.to .Don't worry, it's Xwares free. Not sure the one that u install is the "best" lite version.

To check whether u have the REAL lite version:-
1) Goto 'Options' > 'Network'. Under 'Bandwidth Options' try my settings as per attachment.
2) Check 'Limit Uploads Speed' and use "1 KB/s".
3) Click 'OK' to activate ur settings.
4) RETURN to the 'Network' option again. Should u see the 'Limit Download Speed' stated as "3 KB/s", than the eD2K is NOT the true lite version. True lite version should grey-out the DL limit and maintain ur U/L as "1 KB/s".

As usual, the ports need to be forwarded if u have firewall and/or router, etc. For Windows Firewall, u need to unblock "edonkey2000" application as well as allow ports in ur setting. In my case, port no. 8888=TCP and 14667=UDP.

To get broad file sources and max. DL rate:-
1) Goto 'Servers' TAB
2) DELETE all other servers EXCEPT for "DonkeyServerNo1" and "DonkeyServerNo2".

U can use the same server as above for eMule too.

Edited : MOST IMPORTANT THING IS U MUST HAVE "REACHABLE" STATUS! If u have "Testing Firewall" or "Unreachable" status, u ain't go nowhere...

It's Streamyx RM88 package. MAXIMUM DL=1024kbps; MAXIMUM U/L=512kbps.

Yup... its a greedy one...but i don't feel guilty as there are many international users who still cling onto official eD2K/eMule client(s).

Edited: Actually this selfish version has been online for more than 2 years already...

I reserve the U/L for torrent. Coz,
eD2K = no ratio policy.
Torrent = silly ratio policy.

Actually...

eD2k NORMAL/Official version = 'credit' system
eD2K lite version = no ratio policy = 'leech' (i.e. i have higher priority than others) = http://www.kltforums.com/?showtopic=3847

Torrent = silly ratio policy = i seed, then 'cabut' when i have downloaded what i want. I only seed files that is "hot", then i got high ratio. After i've finish what i want, i 'cabut' lari...then seed again when i want.

I set my U/L to 1KB/s and I got UNLIMITED D/L.... that's the true lite version. the one(s) claimed to be lite version do need to set U/L to 10KB/s to obtain UNLIMITED D/L and i don't install that fake lite version.

Too bad the eMule mod anti-leech feature doesn't work to block my true lite version. Whatever it is, i'm happy with my eD2K "true" "lite" version ... If ppl discover the true lite version of eD2K, for sure they dump eMule(s)...

Definitely... just copy the file's folders into the temp folder of the eD2K. But make sure u don't execute both programmes during transferring process. Cheers.

=> Yes... u need eD2K Pro lite version. Have i mentioned to install the true lite version at this link? http://C2P.6x.to . And execute the followings:-
1) After install, restart WinXP.
2) Launch eD2k. Goto "OPTION" menu > "Unlock Pro" > and fill-up any info on "User" and "Password". And congratulations. U have just installed a Pro version! Click "OK".
3) Restart eD2k. U will notice the banner at top right-side has gone coz u r using eD2K Pro Lite version.
4) Goto "Options" menu > "Advanced" > check "eDonkey2000". U'll see "Overnet" is greyed-out too.
5) Goto "Network" > Use 999 for "Maximum Connections".
6) Goto "Plugins" > uncheck everything. Then u'll see pop-up dialogue(s) stating plugins will not start.
7)Goto "Server" > check all.
8) Finally, click "OK".
9) Goto "Servers" TAB. Delete all servers EXCEPT "DonkeyServerNo1" and "DonkeyServerNo2". Then, right-click EITHER server and "Connect". In the status bar u should see "Reachable" status. If not, ur Firewall (especially Windows Firewall) blocked ur eD2K. Hope u know how to "Unblock".
10) And from now on, everytime u start eD2K, everything is set to just... downloading....and searching...But please ensure u r connected to "DonkeyServerNo1" OR "DonkeyServerNo2".

4. You using "unlock pro" version?
=> YES downloaded from this link http://C2P.6x.to . All the above settings will only work for "true" lite version. There are so many lite version out there with patches and cracks, but only this one works best for me...

5. Bout your attachment, 75 downloads with 104.9Kb.. even daytime? I mean your download speed
=> YES if i'm not using Torrent. Even if i launch uTorrent, seems like most of the time, 50% connection goes to eD2K and remaining to uTorrent and surfing.

6. e.. where u staying?
=> TTDI Jaya Shah Alam.

hmmm.... as far as i know, eD2K connects to DonkeyServers ONLY. So as eMule. Therefore, as long as both A and B users share files, apparently both users interchange files. But if from KAD to DonkeyServers, only eMule can do this. That's the only advantage i see in eMule(s) other than Protocol Encry.
