QUOTE(YiQi @ Aug 5 2007, 01:08 AM) I can't tell I can reach the speed to 100kb because my download files are not those popular stuff. wah really ah ....then i should try leh....its really pathetic not being able to download stuff during the day....But defintely, the speed is much much better than peak hours. The difference I found are: After 1am, I am able to (which is not possible or not easy in daytime) 1. Connect to most of the Servers without lowid, easily 2. Get lots of peers in my list 3. Get connected to peers more easily and download speed is good The difference is very sinicficant. BTW, I run utorrent at the same time, and you can see the difference easily also. Usually, you will: 1. Saw lots of peers number in swarm list, but very few in connected (active) list, and most of them are M'sia peers 2. Very hard to get connected, once connected, very hard to get a good speed and discoonected easily but after 1am, everything is different, all peers suddently come in, and speed went up.... and peers are from all over the world..... QUOTE(Hornet @ Aug 6 2007, 09:52 PM) My emule now is stuck at 2-8kbps. Connection all protocol obfuscated only. Been happening for the past few weeks. thats so true.......their spend alot of resources in throttling torrents and p2p but their actual service...is like Now this is the ironic thing about TmNet. If they can break the emule protocol obfuscation, that should make them among the most advance ISP in the world, in terms of throttling their user line. As far as service quality goes, they are still the first from the rear end. |
