Not sure about that, but for emule setting (take from Official eMule board) some people recommend "Max connections" set to 200 and "'Max New Connections/5sec" set to 5.This setting should be let you download file concurrently for more than 16,you can download around 26 files. laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif
You are welcome,i'm just try to help out.
Good luck and enjoy. laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

I actually changes port forwarding to 4800TCp,4700UDP didn't work anymore. Seems like we need to use different ports. Emule is dead in malaysia. cry.gif

My Torrent is the same. is dead too!!

warez...i think i give up...rather just discontinue my tmnet acount..since it is not downloading anything....

Maybe try some other service provider like jaring wireless

Anyone have jaring wireless? Try emule works there or not

Take a look at first page and look at portforwarding.com .

It is very hard to explain how to port forward because different router use dfferent interface. So you have to just read your manual read on port forward.

It will not work anyway. Seems like is dead. It will be only like 1.5 max for downloading cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

Hey Fariz,

I also wanted your settings as reference too. thumbup.gif I cannot see your settings. sad.gif from the picture.

I still having problems with emule.. sad.gif I stay in PJ area. Still having problem.

Maybe is time to try forwarding all ports..which I don't want to do yet. Then start trying one port by one port till I find it. sad.gif

If TMNET really introduce capping I still think any port will still not work sad.gif

Oh No !! cry.gif Fariz did you get a unknown ID when connected to server? Or u get a high ID?

I actually got unknown. I forwarded ports according to your preference. Hmmm...this is going to be weird if you don't get unknown instead High ID.

hmmm....must be something wrong with the connection....then...port 8245 is not working anymore..for my information.AFAIK is not working..on 8245 anymore....

Anyone have the same problem? In PJ area? cry.gif

Did you sure you already port forward?Click HERE to check.
*
Yup warez, I did. Check With canyouseeme.org Is sucess in 8245 and 51200. For me it used to work in 8245 very nicely.

I should correct my words. Maybe I should say the ports works ! Is in high ID....just that the doesn't break the barrier of 2.0kbs at all in Emule and stays at 0.0 sad.gif cry.gif

emule need some time to get high speed...

Hi HMMaster,

Yeah..i know. It was not like that. It have been 1 month now. I haven't even finish naruto since episode 174 imagine that. cry.gif I have to switch to torrent. They seems okay last time on my emule. So I am thinking maybe they did cap it.

Always at 60kbps but not anymore. Anyone in PJ area got the same problem? Hope not only me. Maybe is time to switch router and see whether that is okay.

Skma: TMNET detects packets of emule and then cap it to a certain limits. It is because p2p networks packets are easily detected in some way. Overseas ISP actually implement such mechanism to stop p2p downloaders. Maybe TMENT brought one too from overseas. shocking.gif

Okay...seems like everyone from PJ area experiencing the same slow in emule. But I am not sure about puchong.

According to Fariz,in puchong is still okay. Maybe anyone from puchong willing to share their story on emule. Is it really sure that puchong have no cap yet? Hopefully fariz can get back to us or anyone else not suffering from cap yet. Willing to share their location.

Seems like penang is having the same problem too where it is cap. Anyone who leave in PJ area and KL area. Let me know how their emule going ? cry.gif

Torrent seems to be okay.but slow too not too much cap because they used protocol encryption algorithm where ISP cannot detect the data is download by p2p client. Hopefully emule come out with the same technology too. cry.gif

What i mean is...
when connected to a server

Hey infiniteX,

Very detail help and explaination. I can tell you the truth is that my credit is not little you know. I have been using emule since two years ago(ratio is not low). So I am not sure that the "modded emule" will help exactly. I am not sure. I have not try it yet. how bout you ,did u get slow download speed too?what is your speed?kind to share? sweat.gif

Everyone can try all the modded emule stuff and get back here and ask the same question. THe problem is I "suspect" that tmnet have cap. But no confirmation.

My connection start to slow after the remove of razorback server. So is razorback causes that slow or tmnet have cap? cry.gif

AFAIK, razorback store lots of sources of server interconnected for easy sources. Most people interconnected with razorback. cry.gif

Another thing, emule settings are correct and port forwarding are good. What else can it be. I believe they are some who are not newbie to emule too but still have slow connection. thumbup.gif

Let's share as much idea so we can to solve this problem together. icon_rolleyes.gif

ANNOUNCEMENT

TMNET TEMPORARY SERVICE DISRUPTION DUE TO INTERNATIONAL LINK OUTAGE

TM Net Sdn Bhd would like to inform its customers that its Internet service is currently experiencing a slight drop in performance caused by several outages due to service degradation at some of its international links to China, Taiwan and the United States.  This is due to the APCN2 (Asia Pacific Cable Network 2) submarine cable fault between Shantou, China and the South China Sea, near Philippines that occurred at 11.30 p.m. on 12th March 2006.

The international providers are carrying out rectification works in stages and the restoration exercise is expected to be completed by Friday, 17 March 2006. Meanwhile, the company would like to inform its customers that this had caused major downtimes on several TM Net international transit and peering links, mainly to the said countries.

As a result, TM Net is currently running slightly short on international capacity due to the problem.  Therefore, some Internet users in Malaysia and other parts of Asia may be experiencing some delay when assessing content and websites hosted in Taiwan and China.

TM Net has taken immediate action to divert some traffic through other back-up links in Taiwan and China to reduce the traffic congestion and is currently working closely with the cable restoration team for the cable failure that has occurred.
We will be making an announcement as soon as services have resumed.
TM Net Sdn Bhd apologizes for any inconvenience caused but at the same time we would like to assure you that what we are doing is necessary in order to restore the service as soon as possible.

Customers can call the 24-hour TM Net Customer Interaction Centre at 1-300-88-9515 or 1-300-88-1515 from 8:00 a.m. till midnight or email at custcare@tm.net.my for further enquiries about the service.

Good one ayumi!!That sounds more relieve...Seems like is an international link problem. rclxms.gif

So infiniteX, how bout u letting us know about your download speed? Kind to share? icon_rolleyes.gif What is your condition of your p2p?

you seems like you don't have download problems. thumbup.gif

italianjob: Check out the credit system on the emule website. Is actually being calculated by download and upload ratio. So read about it in emule website or google it by typing "emule credit system".But it doesn't really apply when you download like EXTREME high sources of file.(like sources more than 800+) that I have tested before. So if you want to know whether u port forwarded correctly then try downloading a file (mp3) which is high in sources. But for now...it cannot be proven because it is an APCN2 problem. This means that the connection of TMNET is cut off from the world. So just wait till things go back normal first.

Infinitex - you are from KK or a new user? The problem here in PJ /KL is that no amount of tweaking the settings will help bcos of ?traffic shaping? by tmnet. Been using emule for like 3 years and this is definately the end  if this keeps up.

Switched to Utorrent but they don't have the stuff that emule has.
*
Hi InfiniteX I really wonder what is your configurations. Kind to share your ports and configurations? thumbup.gif

If you are really from KK, maybe the link in KK is different in malaysia. So The link have no problems.

Do you meant, even now you don't suffer slo speed download? shocking.gif

Fariz:Thanx for the info on your reply. Then now what is next? Only PJ/KL suffered the slow? But not puchong? That does not make any sense still.....will try something extra tonight to see is it something wrong with the TMNET or my line.

I think PJ/KL area link to the international is still not fix. Each area have different link to the outside world. Probably KK uses the japan or indonesia link so that's why there are no problem with speed. cry.gif

That is my assumptions. I begin to feel fed up. If the link is broken, I believe surfing the web will have problems too,but websites are not affected. That really make me very curious and wonder. whistling.gif

If the link is broken - why is it only p2p data like emule/bt (without encryption) that is affected? Well, I hope to god it's a link problem and not the a**holes in tmnet mucking about.
I've never encountered this kind of slowdown before, wasted so much of my time with the emule / firewall / network settings - lucky found out I'm not the only one with this problem
*
Yeah..i got fed up too. But the problem is that InfiniteX never have this problem. I wonder sweat.gif Is it because is KK?

klmc,i also got fed up. But according to the news posted by skma, it stated that the problem will be fix by 17th March. Now is like 24th march ? So...... shocking.gif

I don't know anymore....

cru2005: For you i am not sure why you got disc from ed2k. Can u at least let us know your port, location and your line condition so we can help you. icon_rolleyes.gif
