During the weekends.. I went to molest cameras... 550D, GF1 and E-PL1. Already using a S90 and FZ28... so a bit hesitant as to whether it's the right route.

QUOTE(Wuahaha @ Apr 26 2010, 01:27 PM) Added on April 26, 2010, 1:28 pm If you want to be pro get 550D, light-pro GF1, casual E-PL1, but then you already got S90 why casual again? Just my 2 cents If kena lottery.. then problem solved --> M9 This post has been edited by sniper on the roof: Apr 26 2010, 03:06 PM |

QUOTE(ae8za @ May 13 2010, 12:08 PM) Silver E-P2 it is... Ditto that... damn Oly for deliberately handicapping the E-PL1. I sooooo want to love it but cannot.E-PL1 is too plasticky for my taste and NEX is too 'modern' designed. I'm into old school design so sticking with the E-P2 for the time being... It's my travel and leisure camera anyways so it must be something I'm comfortable in using and show to the public... The great thing is many people thought I'm still shooting film when I'm with my E-P1+17mm+VF... Also it's about time Oly do go high res on the screen..Grrrrr.. |

QUOTE(hellfire8888 @ May 13 2010, 01:01 PM) I don't think so lor... for notebooks (which I'm more familiar) at least... they all consume the same power. What's true is that higher resolution screens cost more money. Now that the NEX (the bigger high res screen, the bigger sensor) is out, it quite obvious now that the margins on the M43 is pretty high. |

QUOTE(gogo2 @ May 24 2010, 04:59 PM) we're cool... but the problem is, you don't know what you're talking about here... Don't have a freakin clue what you guys are discussing but as usual, some dingdongmark is in orderHow you evaluate whether Canon G11 taking in more lights than Olympus E-P2? How??? Did you check whether you have the same setting between G11 and E-P2? http://www.dxomark.com/index.php/eng/Image...and3)/Panasonic QUOTE(bobds78 @ May 24 2010, 05:40 PM) I am here to share information and make friends along the way. My information may be wrong, correct me if you will. I am cool. There's no need for 'beer' attack or 'drug' abuse, and certainly abusive language not welcome. Naw.... that's just the gogo2's style of posting |

QUOTE(bobds78 @ May 24 2010, 05:58 PM) Cool Bro. Oh ya, it may sound like comparing ep2 with G11! Definitely ep2 is way way above g11, no doubt! And that's why I go for ep2 and trash G11! But the truth is, I have read some review that I dont remember where that it mentioned G11's light sensing ability has been pumped up and this is proven through my use of G11 for about 3 months. During that time, I was really amazed at G11's ability to handle low light, given its small size sensor. Imagine if they transfer this technology to its bigger brother, those big guns EOS series! Did you get your EP2 with the EVF?Unfortunately I have sold off my G11 to upgrade to ep1 and now to ep2. May be I can still scavenge for some G11 photos and post them here later tonite. cheers Suddenly poisoned by the retro look. |

QUOTE(samurai1337 @ May 25 2010, 01:56 PM) *Slapping myself in the face*After my last trip, I realised the importance of having quick access to the controls. QUOTE(Wuahaha @ May 25 2010, 02:02 PM) Depends how/wat u gonna use the new camera for ... wat u wan to shoot. If ur S90 can already do wat u need, then no point upgrade right? Gatal-ness... I love my S90 but it lacks the detail and depth of field of bigger sensor. |
