with budget of 2.5k the only option you got for new unit is E-PL1 and EOS 550D (slightly higher)the pana still the pricier choice...but if u wouldn't mind for the money why not??...for undoubtfull IQ i would say better go for EOS 550D..but if u like to be different hanging around m43 camera around ur neck...(and ppl will for sure staring at you!!)...i will definitely encourage you to go for m43 system...!!!

wow...choice of lense become wider as wider the aperture...looks like m43 camera will be the 'next affordable rangefinder wannabe'.....very good!!

so does that mean GH2 are meant for those looking for video capturing device in a DSLR like body??seem like overlapping with camcorder already...they suppose to invented rangefinderlike body + built in EVF...is it to much to ask??
