Yes Any board with Intel 6 series chipset are affected. (I'm tired of explaining it repeatedly).
It will not be affected if u move ur HDD/Optical drives to Sata 3 ports while waiting for replacement from Intel around April.

Announcement from Asus
*
so i can buy it now , and put my hdd/optical drives to sata 3 ports.and wait for replacement on april?

If u buy now, as long as its the HDD/Optical Drives sata3 port, it'll be safe for now.
If u have the patience, then wait for April.

no patience dy >.< wanted to buy a pc since last year...

there is only 2 sata3 ports in sabertooth p67.
The sata3 port is brown in color. while the sata 2 is black.
so use both the brown 1 only to prevent the chipset flaw...

sorry for asking noob question again >.< optical drive need one sata3 port oso right ?

R3 has B3 stepping chipset, which has fixed SATA port issue.
Dont get confused with the revision number. the R3 should be referring to revision 3.0 of the PCB, not the chipset stepping

means all sata can use or what ?
