H67 is meant for ppl who don't do serious overclocking and won't be running Dual GPU configuration such as CF, SLi, will be either run on integrated graphic or single GPU. Save ur $$$ for other stuffs, like better casing for better ventilation, more ram or a better soundcard.

P67 will be recommended for Enthusiast who wants to squeeze the most power out of their K processor and benchmarking, multi-gpu solution.

They got 77 problems. How they want to fix the processor that have been shiped out? By software???
*
Why processor? Intel already put up the announcement the problem lies on the motherboard Chipset itself.

To use 3rd party SATA controller may affect PCIe lanes and cripple performance of PEG slots, don't you think?
*
Depends on controller on the PCIe circuit. If its like the OCZ+ Raid ones it should be promising speed.

Not necessarily so,for example the Acer 5750G SB laptop uses the port 0 for the HDD and port 2 for the ODD.
Port 0/1=SATA3,else SATA2
*
All in all, laptop will depends on how each manufacturer manages the Sata port.

Yes Any board with Intel 6 series chipset are affected. (I'm tired of explaining it repeatedly).
It will not be affected if u move ur HDD/Optical drives to Sata 3 ports while waiting for replacement from Intel around April.

If u buy now, as long as its the HDD/Optical Drives sata3 port, it'll be safe for now.
If u have the patience, then wait for April.
