i intended to put a single place where ppl can find information on intel 6 series chipsets instead of digging into other long threads anyway..its up to the mods to merge this thread or let it slide naturally down into the pit This post has been edited by jinaun: Nov 5 2010, 11:41 AM |

with modern boards as lots of extra sata ports.. one can just move their drives which is connected from the biodegradeable sata3 to marvell/etc ports

well.. the SB stepping D2 and Q2 both has 77 erratas todate
most of the errata has workarounds or its minor implications.. so i dun think its an issue This post has been edited by jinaun: Feb 7 2011, 12:56 AM Attached File(s)

i think i'll return my asus p67deluxe and topup to either maximus4EX, UD7 or BB Marshal
whatya guys think? coz intel or some1 mentioned ivy bridge can be used in socket1155/P67, so the motherboars could at least last for 2 gens This post has been edited by jinaun: Feb 8 2011, 11:05 PM |

QUOTE(cybersans @ Mar 12 2011, 01:56 PM) whats what i called "opportunity". if you have chance like that, will you? don't say to me that you're so loyalty to what you just bought when somebody offer you to refund so that you can get your money, buy another think cheaper or powerful than previous people will typically topup to get better modelcoz if downgrade.. shop won usually give back money.. they will give credit note |

QUOTE(Boldnut @ Apr 15 2012, 10:11 AM) I am think I am going to sit this out and wait near Haswell launch and grab the fastest 1155 CPU. Since I am using 2500K I need the biggest performance gap I can get to justify the CPU upgrade. i dun think haswell will be using 1155 socketBase on the history of Intel launching their new CPU. Every new CPU architecture have at least 1 faster version after the first batch. So I wouldnt rule out there is at least 1 model faster than 3770K. unless the recent sucky AMD change the Intel. |
