QUOTE(k!nex @ Jan 9 2011, 07:12 PM) i already checked their website. If you compare ud3p and ud3, it only stated that ud3p has 12 phase power design but did not mention anything about ud3 I`ve extra 1156 bolt kit. PM me if you want.Added on January 9, 2011, 7:13 pm Dont take the Asus LE version, not worth it, non LE only RM599 but 12 phase power vs LE is 4 phase power design. Refer here The Asus you listed there should be same cfx speed as gigabyte since the more expensive non LE version also 16x/4x |

QUOTE(intothefantasy @ Apr 24 2012, 01:22 AM) Absolutely yes, especially in long term run. What i mean is the power consumption. IB almost halved the power consumption of your i7. Not to mention some "extra features" like native USB 3, better memory controller, PCIe gen 3, and sure overall performance. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « List of supported DDR3 modes by mobo running on IB procs. QUOTE(sleyer @ May 8 2012, 01:39 PM) power consumption not big problem For long term it is no. IB does save power marginally compared to previous gen.If your electricity is free than it is not big deal. This post has been edited by flexus90: May 8 2012, 02:59 PM |

QUOTE(V3nz @ May 11 2012, 10:02 PM) If its under your budget and u need a lot raw processing power, then its good choice. 3770k good enough until Haswell introduced, no need to worry upgrading again.K version OC-able and resale value of K version is higher. |
