technically no
1156 is (number performance wise) is inferior
even 1336 (enthusiast) have processors struggling to keep up with 1155 even though it cost much (new part comparison)
but for non extreme gaming, benchmarking
1156 can serve it purpose

Extreme gaming doesn't need powerful CPU. It's like wasting time to have a GODLIKE CPU with a snail-speed GPU.
Anyway, Core i7 CPU from LGA1156 and Core i7 CPU from LGA1366(assume all those 4 Cores's) have the same gaming scores in fact.
On the other hand, Core i7 CPU from LGA1155 is slightly faster, but, still, the gaming scores are not really affected. Because gaming doesn't love CPU but GPU.
LGA1366 for nothing? Nope.
LGA1366 MOBOs are more expensive, this is because of their Triple-Channel RAM Slots(6 DIMM Slots) which is more than LGA1155 and LGA1156(they have only 4 DIMM Slots).
Also, LGA1366 have higher PCI-E Bandwidth in their PCI-E Sockets. So, it can play SLi/CFX(Multi-GPU) Setup better than LGA1155 and LGA1156.
These are the MAIN THINGS and ATTRACTIVE STUFFS of having LGA1366.
