the z68x-ud7 looked exactly like the p67a-ud7, perhaps just a bit of changes. anyway, i don't see why i need the on-die intel graphics when i can use discrete graphics. if my discrete graphic card has problem, i think i can wait for a few weeks as it is not as long as i had  waited for the replacement of the ud7  for about 3 months  and at the same time also waited for the arrival of hd6990. Nationtech is good enough to totally replaced my ud7 with a whole new package.

i would even prefer if my motherboard has no onboard sound (since i will never use it) but it is already a permanent feature on all motherboards so it is disabled all the way.

integrated graphic will work great if i'm building a htpc or a basic torrent downloading machine but not on my gaming system.

And for SSD caching feature, i think it works like the momentus XT but in the end,  the user will also need to invest on a small capacity SSD so that it feature will work. In the end, i would just go and get a SSD to store my games.

according to this trend . cheap price range - H67 , mid-price range - p67 , so I think z68 will get high price range . Because since gigabyte continue to produce h67 and p67 , why they would put z68 in p67 range(RM400~600 is entry board of p67) ? that would cut p67 sales . Any opinions    ? But I think p67 board will drop price  .

P67 & Z68 is just few dollars different, i don't know why don't intel just simply develop Z68 since it provide H67+P67 function~

ASRock has already released 3 new Z68 motherboards on their website. Other manufacturers have not listed their Z68 motherboards yet.

I'm waiting for ASRock Z68 but I hope all the rumors about buggy z68 Bios is not true.

Oh yeah I'm pretty sure I'm within that 5% that want a maximus with onboard graphic to offload some of my monitors. Although I don't doubt that my CF wouldn't be affected much powering the other few screens. I could always toss in a dual DVI card that I have to offload my main gpus on the third PCI slot. Just blows that it doesn't come with on board

That's true but I think it's just with the rationale that most people running on a high end board like this wouldn't be bothered about the onboard video

If that's the case, you're just spending the money on the wrong place If you're not intending to overclock high enough, you don't even need a high end board at the first place. Of course it's your choice but to me it's always about practicality.

Don't forget to add shipping and 7% taxes for most parts in the states. In Canada, taxes is 13%. We aren't paying a lot more premium actually
