you're suppose to prime/surfacer --> base coat --> topcoat(gloss for enamel) --> enamel --> topcoat

That is why your paint didn't stick well..
and why you go gosok your paint. lol

no worries.
for best results, let the paints/prime dry at least 1 day before you start another layer or you can take the risk.

transform kit, if you "play" it.. paint sure scratch one. cry.gif

You can try finding Pledge in hardware stores, especially big ones like Ace, or home cleaning solutions places
Krylon Matte Finish is not an alternative, it IS a flat topcoat biggrin.gif
other spray can brands do have flat topcoat, however they are rare. Heck, even Krylon is rare

Thanks for sharing! I always frustrated by the bad cutting mark, coz need to sand it afterward, not to mention how it might screw the transparent component
.... wonder how much is it.

crap... it says "limited amount, only available in that particular shop!"

When i started gunpla painting, i used pylox. it's suitable for gunpla but beware not to spray too thick. Spray at least 30cm away. Spraying directions left right left right(hope you get what i mean). The finishing is good if not painted too thick.

Bro, go invest a cutter, get a RM50 cutter from tamiya would be sufficient, using it right now. can cut sharply and the quality is great.
You can go for the RM100 cutter from tamiya if you have the moolah.. lol...
Cutters are the most used tool in gunpla so spending abit more for it, it's definitely worth it.

I agreed with this smile.gif I'm using Tamiya Side cutter which I buy around RM 110, last time.. use it to build > 20 gunplas still ok smile.gif I even trim down those unwanted runners to make it able to fit into smaller plastic bag to be dump into rubbish bin smile.gif

You do need to mix with lacquer thinner (not sure if other type of thinner can) because out of the bottle the paint is quite rough. I usually mix about 1:2 ratio.
