With the popularization of more Blu-ray movie titles, I propose that Lowyat actually add a new Topic Tag of Blu-ray Movies under Garage Sales --> Games.

Why under Garage Sales --> Games? This is because currently all blu-ray titles are listed under Games due to the Blu-ray playing capabilities of the PS3, and just adding a new topic tag will make it much easier for members to look for the blu-ray movies instead of having to sift through all the clutter of Videogames.

Alternatively, a whole new subsection of Garage Sales --> Blu-ray can also be considered. This will however mean that most of the threads have to be moved to the new subsection.

Will be hoping to see some feedbacks from the admin here.

just FYI, blu-ray isn't spelt as blueray. considering the fact, that you are currently an active trader with regard to this commodity; worth getting the concept right.

agree....blu ray shud had it's own section

now the thing about each action / approval is about what comes after that.

if we allow Blu-Ray movies tag, then we'll probably get a requests for CD and DVD movies tag as well.

perhaps you can do us a favor, since you're the one proposing it - find out how many threads are there are about selling movies. Legitimate ones of course, pirated ones - remember to REPORT la.

so yeah, just find out more because if there's a lot then there's always a possibility of opening new section for similar threads. If not, it's about assigning the possible tags.

for me, I think we could explore what you suggested and I think possibly the best way to introduce this is to change name from GAMES to GAMES & MOVIES perhaps. then from there, we could just add a MOVIES tag or DVD movies / Blu-Ray movies / CD movies and so on.

of course, MOVIES may not be the right term since there are series on such mediums as well.

still, share your thoughts. help us find out on the frequency of such threads and we'll see whether it's feasible on our end to do so.

movies & series / music will be great. A lot of us have box sets of series/movies/music that are collectors item which we would like to trade or look for.

I second the thought, where as you could eventually view on Games thread, there's loads of Blu-ray sales post rather than DVD.

IMHO , i dont think anyone would approach the board for DVD / CD section, as they already exist for Audio CD under Music & Audio Related Acc.

So , please consider TS's suggestion and i believe everyone who comes to this forum anywhere from the world would made it easy for them to look for this particular section on "Blu-ray Movies"

There are very few DVD threads due to the rampant piracy of the media. Very few ppl actually buy original DVDs. So I don't think there will be any request for it.

At least give us a Blu Ray tag for easier sorting.

Totally agree, although the search function is there, but if its just all blu-ray topics, we can judge and determine and compare prices and go for the best valued sellers. Although im a seller, but i do buy from the rest for my personal use. So i find this tag is relevant and should be approved.

There are tons of threads on bluray. Plus LYN has already become a site that involves everything. So adding bluray isn't going to be such a big problem, since everything else already has a tag.
