What credit card you're using? Check with your bank their online purchase charges.

I think not all the bank offers same amount of merchandise sales rate + finance charges..

Not sure , as i said, check with your bank what are the charges. Usually if the charges are high, you better buy it locally.

Do a small calculation before you buy. For example if you are buying 3 items from ABC web. Check if they are charging shipment by weight measurement or per item charges.

Do hop in items in your cart [more the better] and cross check in forum or any web the item price and the item you want to buy.
If its worth it buying online, go ahead, otherwise dont take the risk of being overcharged.
