i was planning for ui, gear loots and attempt to understand totc10 combat sequence (the worms, the magnator, the eredar, the twins with polar attitudes and the big giant bug that most peeps had accidentally stepped on and killed)...

if it's on 10/ 25 heroic and i'm doing dps on OT's add, jasi's logic would be viable because i only need focus on helping OT taking the adds down as quick as possible without worrying much on healing (i mean, there's MH and OH for healz, plus there might have a backup healer if running a 3-healer-raid in 10 men raid). 5/5 on judgement of the pure really outdps SoComm as it deals damage per second. the mana can be sustained using divine plea from time to time

but pugs has only one healer and sometimes we just see shaman dropping totems/ droods turn to a plant/ priest with those glittery stuff/ paladin with eh... non-plate sp gears just standing at corner staring at the blue yonder while tank having his tough time doing his job of getting aggro off the aggro-chart-topping mage/ rogue/ huntard/ lolret/ boomkins or in some rare occasion the tank isn't a proper tank (for example: the tank has a wonky tank rotation like me, or the tank is doing his tanking stuff with wrong talent, just like the blood spec DK tank i had encounter last time) then glyph-ed SoComm would be better as an insurance to keep the tank to do his job a bit longer thru Judgement + FoL spam before mana drained dry and LoH the tank and hope that the rest of dps would be taking the boss/ mobs down in time or the healzor finally woke up from his dream.




TL;DR version:

10/ 25 men raid - off heal to tank not a concern, 5/5 into judgement of the pure to max SoV/ SoCurr

5 men dungeon - off heal to tank might be a concern, glyph + SoComm = mana for healz in case sh!t happen

i did explain the situations that made certain degree on why i choose SoComm over SoV; pug dungeons has more people /afk than pug raid, and healing isn't a big concern during raid unless you gor the roll of a healer...

to be fair,

1. not a ninja since 2h upgrade for melee class
2. lost to a roll (8?! but i got 100 for epeen boosting 'needy' achievement like, 20 minutes ago)

for the gears and vpn part (including the countless visits to shoe stores for new shoe since 3 weeks ago)...

in return beheader has 258ap, extra 65ap from harpoon flat +183ap (counting out kings buff and drood's buff). +118 agility only scales critical strike and armor ratings by a little bit

harpoon with red +20 str gem would never get close to a beheader with pure crit gem (as what i did on me thau toon) or tossing in a resil gem makes it a starter arena weapon with socket bonus

hence, tyrannical beheader wins hands
