It probably cause tempreture to fall by 5 celcius. Take the example of caves in Malaysia. They dont get any sunlight at all for ages, but it is not freezing point in there.

i went to a few caves before and yup not really until freezing point.. in fact it's quite stuffy there, gets sweating a lot..

In some parts of Dark Caves, Batu Caves the tempreture goes as high as 28 celsius. You will begin to sweat after 1 minute. In contrast the tempreture outside is only 23.

Maybe.. since one of the major extinction on earth happened during triassics is due to the ash clouds covering the atmosphere and sunlight cannot penetrate. This cause the temperature of the earth to drop. But that is with active tectonic plates movement where the plates around the world bcome active and collide each other and causing major volcanic activities.

The solution to global warming as mentioned earlier is not applicable IMO.
As the dust will affect organisms,so it will be bad for us too.
Not to mention the fine dust problem that will be occurring.
Even machines, which have blades and moving parts will be affected also.

Tectonic activities do not necessary lead to volcanic activities
Volcanic activities maybe independent from tectonic activities

I do not know that there must be dust in the atmosphere to create rain. Can you explain, please.

but usually its due to the active movement of the tectonic plates that create the volcanoes.

We need sub zero to snow and we are not even near it yet.
