there are no fake ad700 reporting in the market......yet. those purple tins are just too hideous and they cant earn much from faking an ad700....maybe w5000 would be a btr choice for them.

yes, those below 100$ from amazon USA are legit ad700, 4 customers under me have no complain at all till now, including me myself.

we know if its a fake or not by just listening to the quality. if the fakes quality is superb, then the counterfeit got my credit lol

hmm....anyone here mod their AD700 cable before? thinking of doing it....

i think the cable is abit too long to organize too....if theres no suitable cabling upgrade available for ad700, i will just cut out unneccasary lengths and resoldier them back....too long for me. using it with my portable rig...

mm.....well, im nt capable to do that but im pretty sure my dad is capable to do those soldiering....so....no modded ad700 in this forum? will dig out some guides in head fi

i will be the 1st one then XD....found a few guide d...will work it out when i got the time.....if the SQ is not to my liking, then my younger bro will be the lucky one. will opt for upgrade....

most of the accessories need to get from the states so might need quite some time....maybe i will do it when im back to malaysia...

the price is too good to be true then most probably its not. but you can try to contact seller ask him to let you try the headsets. your ear will tell you the truth.

well, lol, i guess u can only bring it back to USA which is not a brilliant idea. ask someone in the forum whom is capable to fix it to help you or get another pair of cans XD

Van Damme Starquad cable and Neutrik jacks seemed affordable.

well, abit of movement is ok....i recommend you to open the can and check if the cable is broken or not (shake it, twist it, adjust it.....dont break it). if it is cable prob, recable =D if it isnt, get a new driver!

went backpacking at europe for 1 month with both ad700 and xonar u1 all the time ....cant survive without any of them for 1 month XD but ad700 dented abit and xonar u1 got 1 part loose liao XD not a really loving owner huh XD but ad700 still as strong as thor! =D going near to 500 hour mark....

open are btr thn closed...semi open signatures are cool too. just increase volume till it can cover the noise.

be a good citizen and do your duty XD

tokyo is way overpriced even from a view of someone living in zurich (me apparently)....but audiophiles in europe are much more affordable.

daemon, how much shud i have in hand to get into vtg club. need to plan wisely d, hopefully can get it for xmas
