VDH is a warm cable. More on the neutral warm side if I got that correctly. Always my favorite cable until I tried Kimber. It's the most transparent cable I've heard so far and it's only Kimber Timbre which is like on the low end side of Kimber series. I can't imagine how is the top of the line KCAG sounded like.

Another option is to try Chord cables which is also good in bringing out the mid.

As for the amp there's only one solution. Bring your CAN to Jaben and knock yourself out with choices

Yeah that will work too especially if you are buying from this side of the world. I bought a USD200+ Maverick D1 and was declared for USD50 haha
