It's also my first encounter with Audio-Technica. I have heard of the brand before, but have not yet tried it as back then, about 2 years ago, it wasn't that widely available in the consumer market (or the noob market as I call it). I was dealing with a shop for my business and I got some credits for a returned product, so they gave me the M30 as a contra. I tested it once, and then packed it nicely, and then sold it off to my friend for RM 150. I liked it, but at that point in time, I didn't have any use for it. Now I regret that decision. My friend laughs at me every chance he gets.

So just two weeks ago I went and bought the headphone again, to complement my Asus Xonar Essence STX.

my first experience with AT is in Jaben Singapore. Wanted to upgrade from my PX-100. End up with a ES-7 and never look back until now.

If I start shopping at Amazon, it won't be just the headphone that I will be buying

Hmm, may not be a bad idea. There are some blu-rays that I have been eyeing. Plus, I can use vPost for cheaper shipping.

my first experience with AT was at Jaben. The moment i took a seat bro yuheng bombarded me with an AD700 and Go-vibe martini O.O followed by HD650..alessandro MS1i with alu mod....T_T took me days to recover from the poison

now i ordered an AD700, Koss and planning to get a WS50. My wallet haz a sad

jaben is a deathtrap for wallets. . LOL

Can somebody give Recommendation about Audio Technica Headphone, my budget is about RM400.

The price of AD700 is usually around there on Amazon. It fluctuates everyday and price differ from every merchant. I got mine for about USD82.xx

My humble opinion, start with ATH-M30. Only RM 230+. Good start to try out what Audio Technica can offer.

u can either start from M30 / AD300

it's good start either way...

if u can up-ed ur budget... get AD700 ( it's a really good start for u then as it's a good gaming headphone as well... and all-rounder headphone since it's has lots of raving reviews in terms of comfortability, and wide soundstage... )

+1 for AD300 / M30

AD300 = W10vtg(right out from the box )

Personally I would choose AD300 but since it a open can it leaks alot of sound~

after reading through pages of tis thread.. i wan ad700!! kena poisoned kao kao d.. at 1st tot wanna buy ad300 1st 1.. but but... shld i straight buy ad700 instead?? in dilemma now.. ad300 around 230 from jaben.. ad700 can get it around 400++ from spreenation but dunno need to wait how long...

AD300 and AD700 sound signature abit different~

AD300 have more bass while AD700 have a wider soundstage and more details~ Personally I would choose AD300 for i like the sound signature, warm + non-fatigue listening~ but if use to to play game as well... AD700 is the best between both~

No point in buying where??

I hear vPost services not so good. Borderlinx shipping is super fast. I get my items within 3-4 days after payment.

Just make sure your merchant don't use an oversize box for your order or else you'll pay unnecessary money because they charge volumetric weight (box dimension) as well.

thinking of getting a casing for my ES10. any recommendation ?. The one AT supply is the same as the ES-7. The ESW9 even a leather one.

u can get hippo case from jaben msia ( it's a hard case so no worries if u drop the case... =) ) and it's kinda cheap...

M30 seriously need an amp
i pair it with fiio e3
it sounded much better than pluggin it into my SS usb soundcard
since its 65ohms of impedance
btw,if anyone found a pair of headphones that can survive ipod bass boost + e3 without any distortion please tell me
so far none of my headphones can produce undistorted sound LOL
