yeap but seriously no point to upgrade frm AD700 to AD900 is just a little bit extra pretty sounding. Not much worth to that level. if you get frm AD900 is still ok...last time i got AD300 and AD2000 with me end up i sell all except my woody...

the way they describe the K701 is good but for me i totally not agreed. K701 Just over priced. the tyoe of sound i can simply get below 1k headphones to pawned it badly.

As you aware that AKG701 is not worth the price they sell. Even this headphone is not easy drive as you think of. Recently they produce quite a number of signature like example Quicy Jones signature..much more i can say is fancy model coming up frm them but the price is overed what you expected. I you never listen to Audio Technica you can drop by to meet me at Jaben Office this coming saturday...

AD2000 is good headphone with most not need to amp it. Anyway i would suggest you get the W11JPN Earpad. this pad can last more longer for listening.

The problem that AD700 pad is not the real leather pad. So if you not clean it after use it sure will not last longer..

the cable is two side ways..but i will not encourage you to modd it..cause it will loss the signature sounding..

you can do that if you can find a good mod expert to do it. but still can feel the wood is crying then...so is better to keep the way there are. but if you cable infuture is rotten or spoil then this will make sense to modd it.

This item is not brand new but the owner is a japanese did not listen to it less than 24 hours and this item keep in box all the time. condition is superb. I pay USD1.3K for this unit.
