ck10 and ck100 is 2 different iems;
i have compared both, and i own ck10.
briefly,
ck10 - lacks bass, therefore sounds trebly a bit. sounds very very smooth, and other than the tilted frequency response, it is still flat from bass to treble. sound body is slightly thicker vs ck100.
ck100 - very bright upper mids, balanced sounding with a huge hill around the upper mids. bass is very good compared to ck10, but the bright upper mids usually drowns the bass.
otherwise, more balanced sounding than ck10, not tilted towards treble. doesnt sound as smooth as ck10 to my ears.

i rate smoothness according to whether the sound can razorgrind my eardrums, here ck100 does, ck10 doesnt. but apparently most people found ck10 too aggressive in treble compared to ck100. so my claims that ck100 is harsh vs ck10 might not be agreeable.

soundstage, positioning, presentation, both are similar and the same league.

as to which is better, some prefer ck10 and found it better vs ck100, some found ck100 better.

my verdict;
ck10 flaws is lack of bass,
ck100 flaws is colored sound (upper mids) and slightly thin sounding. thin is only compared to ck10, if compare to any BA drivers, both are thick.
both are damn good sounding.

but comparing both doesnt seem true, improvement is supposed to retain same qualities and sound. here they sound different.
so different in fact, after using ck100, you will really find ck10 recessed in the mids and upper mids, or anything else you can put your ears on.
it does improve the bass tho, because it sounds good, full, and never lacking; compared to ck10's almost always lacking bass.

after having ck10 for sometime.. 3months?
i recently found out i was wearin it wrong..

better sounding now.. the frequency response is dead flat from bottom to tops.. except for a dip.. starting arnd maybe 70-90Hz (sub bass, feel only, at least 5db lacking, i think more, that's almost a quarter amount), and also a spike arnd the 10-14 kHz (the sparkling taste on high freq notes, not quantity. at least 3db.. maybe 4?).. not sure exactly where.. otherwise.. really flat.
if anyone who tries them found there's too much treble quantity instead of treble sparkle, means the fit is not good.

bass quantity feels lacking because the bass have enough amount of all the frequency needed except the subbass, which gives the massive body, strength and feel to the bass. i think if just hearing.. it would be adequate most of the time. those phones that can present huge drums as sounding and feeling very big usually have good sub-bass..

since im still a bass lover after all.. ck10 is just a bit below satisfactory.. but it already provides most of it. i wont be dissapointed, but i will still be left wanting.. >_<

esw10jpn was priced above rm3k..
w11jpn is limited edition model, should be even more expensive than all woodies..
esw9 is a small form woodie, but still priced at more than rm1.5k..
ew9 ultra portable woodie (smaller than ksc75) is rm800+

for the sound quality, i dont think im asking a lot.
