and the telephone line too, all must be under melaka address.

another good news, if u add on another RM10, u'll get free dect phone & free nationwide landlines calls, which is similar to BB package.

so, for RM88 + RM10 addon, u'll get 4mbps, free wifi modem, free activation & installation, free telephone rental RM25, free dect phone, free call to nationwide landlines.

me from malacca but i use blockbaster then blockbaster price have drop ?

melaka broadband is similar to blockbluster, but at cheaper price and it's only meant for melaka area...

for example:

BB Deal 1mbps = RM110, Melaka Broadband 1mbps = RM68 + RM10 (for free dect phone + free call to tm fixed line nationwide)

so, u save RM32 if u go for Melaka Broadband.

can register at menara tm at mitc?
*
can but the sales said they'll pass to tm point batu berendam to process, thus it'll take longer time to process.

so, my suggestion to go to tm point batu berendam, go straight toward counter 5 & look for streamyx consultant, tell him u want to switch to melaka broadband, just fill up the form & pass to him, process will take up to 1 week.

optional top up of RM10 per month for free dect phone & free call to tm fixed line nationwide.

make sure u r the owner of both phone line & streamyx account, otherwise u need authorization for owner to proceed.

Yes, you can terminate your current Streamyx account, but you need to wait after 30 days to re-apply new Streamyx.

Another way is to apply new phone line & Melaka Broadband together. After successful installation, terminate your old phone line & Streamyx account.

dadurtyz already got 4mbps, he's located near by air port.

another is located at angkasa nuri, still in progress due to port issue.

^ Wondering the same thing. How about line rental?
*
usually, line rental cost RM26, so RM25 is waived, need to pay RM1 only.

Finally, I managed to get Melaka Broadband 4Mbps @ RM88, took me 2 weeks to complete this process. Here, I shall share my experience.

At first, I've checked my phone line for the 4Mbps support through TM Point, but the result is negative due to over 3km from exchange.

So, I've double checked with YoungMan, he's kindly enough to check for me, result is positive. Special thanks to YoungMan for helping me.

So, I went to TM Point again, insisted to apply 4Mbps, filled up form & passed to them to process. And now, I'm enjoying 4Mbps download speed.

Conclusion, do not trust 100% what TM Point has told you, you should check from other source. Another guideline is check your ADSL parameters through ADSL modem, make sure your are using ADSL2+, SNR > 20dB, Attenuation < 40dB, Attainable Rate > 5Mbps.

Too bad that Melaka Broadband is not available for upgrade any more, only for new application, effective from 3/5/10. For those who applied earlier, please double check with TM Point, they *might* process your upgrade.
