Most important question is, do you need a ethernet port?

On Samsung TV, u only can use it with some widget with feature like whether forecast ... etc which i cant remember, n youtube. But, i would recommend u to connect to internet wireless, to avoid the risk by lightning strike if u plugged in the ethernet cable 24/7.

Thanks for your advice.

I thought we can stream the file(video/music) from our computer via ethernet port and watch it on TV?

Btw, anyone know other brand TV (Toshiba, Sharp, LG, Sony...) has this feature? smile.gif

U're welcome, n yes u can. But i think there's still bug with laggy audio, which i'm not really sure bcos i dont need the feature. I prefer to copy the video file to the thumb drive n connect it directly to the TV to play.

Does your B650 supports USB2.0? It can play video from thumb drive?

I think it support USB 2.0. Yeah, u can play video files from thumb drive, i tried avi but most of the time play mkv files. But it doesnt support DTS downmix or passthrough .... so mkv with DTS are not supported.

I own a B650 too and I pulled nearly 50ft of ethernet cable to connect it to the net. The youtube videos there are very low PQ and on the 50", it looks terrible. I only use the youtube widget feature to show off. LOL. The weather and news feature is not bad but Samsung's widgets are rather limited.
