i am wondering anyone staying in Perdana Exclusive encounter this problem?

Recently a fren of mine who stays in Perdana Exclusive (above Tropics , Damansara Perdana) notice a crack on his living room hall. and after a few months, another crack appear in one of the bedroom. this raise his concern on the cause of the crack. so he ask the engineer of the management to investigate on the matter. and after checking, the engineer concludes that the pillar is causing the crack on the wall. this is due to the construction going on opposite site (shud be armanee terrace II) that cause the pillar to shake. upon hearing this, my fren had sold off his house immediately.
he didnt mention this until all is settle and when i ask his opinion on perdana area cos i was keen to get one myself.
and hearing this case really give me a shock. according to him, there is another unit he knows are facing this prob!!!!

so anyone have any comment on this matter? pls help cos i have got an unit in emerald that i really wants to buy.

nope, cause it will be under natural disaster.. cos cf is already issued

these cracks r not onli in exclusive... also in most other developments in damansara perdana.. metro sq, emerald..

Omg ! And another update. My fren say the crack is bad until there's a gap on the wall !!!
Think I would reconsider on purchasing a unit there ....
Anyone have any opinion on pelangi utama ? Might consider there now.

can you slot a 50cents coin through the cracks esp. in beams or columns?
if yes, pls report to local authorities.
if no, it is just shrinkage cracks. not a big deals.

Even new prop got crack, famous developer also got crack, bungalow got crack, low-cost apt got crack...

i do undertand that,,, if its a hair pin crack.. its not a big deal... but in this case.. its a gap about 0.5cm...
even the building engineer verify on this..
but i personally like dp environemnt and i do hope for the best

btw.damansara condo/apartment always got report about cracks happened. btw im sty at metroview condo wangsa maju, since live here.no cracks or anything bad happen.

So far Emerald seems to be okay though. I haven't noticed any cracks as far as my eyes can see (which is limited to my own unit + the common areas).

That is why Perdana Exclusive is cheaper compare to other condos nearby, u pay what u get. But technically i don't know how this problem can be resolved, if it is resolvable, then it should be less worry...no need to scare like shit once u hear problems...problems happen anywhere...

I stay in exclusive... no cracks at my unit... is it the higher unit? Mine 3rd floor... It is a bit old, but recently the management is doing their job and hope this condo can get better...

think price is ok cos its very well maintained
