Sorry, is 0529EPMW(not 0529BPMW) Sempron64 2600+ I have tried to hit this processor at GA-K8NS also can't hit over than 210Mhz @.@... GA-K8NE(BIOS F6), GA-K8NS(BIOS F17) both of the mainboard also can't hit it over than 210Mhz... Before I use 0530 of Sempron64 2600+ processor I success hit it on 300Mhz with GA-K8NS, AMD Sempron64 2600+ 1.6Ghz @ 2.4Ghz running Super PI 32M pass, but now I using same BIOS, Memory Latancy configure hit this 0529EPMW fail, so I wanna tell everyone, the 0529EPMW 2600+ is rubbish.....

But I simply cant live with 512MB RAM if I want 2.5GHz CPU sad.gif and in 1024MB it only can be clocked up to 2GHz(285HTT)even 1HTT more it will get a strange error "Detecting array....." after POST

change to 1 stick 1 gb ram lo, get it from tembakau, rm300 oni

Doing some benchmark,between 1.98GHz 283HTT 3:2 with memory (timing 2,3,2,6) and 1.87GHz 267HTT 1:1 (highest bechable) with memory(timing 3,3,3,8) , the 1.87GHz 267HTT 1:1 is faster than the former.The former get 3600+ 3DMark2005 CPU test and 8400+ CPU score Aquamark3 while the latter get 4100+ 3DMark2005 CPU test and 9000+ CPU Score in Aquamark3

This prove that a high clocked CPU is inferior if it not backed up by a fast memory

Now running at 267HTT 1.45V highly stable and still playing with memory timing, try to find the stable timing

EDIT:
The max stable timing 3,4,3,5 at 2.8V memory bandwidth in SANDRA is 94% efficency! Quite good!
*
i agree on tht too, memory does affect significant performance oso

najmods, wats the best timing n highest oc for ur ram? try to max out the ram 1st using 1:1 using 1T, becoz 2T is really sh*t performance...

i'll trust 6:5 setting will give a performance boost if max htt stuck at 285, ur ram shoulf be able to handle around 236mhz at 1T

or just buy 1 stick 1gb ram from tembakau, i'll trust the ram can do around 230mhz, tht time u can go as high as 345htt which maybe the ram limit at 3:2 memory divider

My RAM maxed out at 267MHz when 1:1,Timing 3,4,3,5 1T at 3V
*
cool dude, i'll trust u can get better timing at at around 236mhz ram speed?

for the time being, use 6:5 divider to squeeze the max performance at 285htt now (since this is ur max htt for 2 stick ram), it'll be a better choice biggrin.gif

I'm using modded TR ALX800, which is actually heatsink for Socket 462. May be that is y temp is like that. Don't know the result if I'm using proper cooler for socket 939.  sweat.gif
*
wah alx 800 also so high temp ar, it used to cool down socket A proc well, it should hv better result sweat.gif try to mirror finishing ur based n clean ur hsf, it'll help to drop a few celcius

hi...im new here can anyone help me optimize my setting? hhahah sorry for using sucs ram biggrin.gif no money now..

below is my current setting, now testing for prime95..
*
u should be able to push the proc higher at least to ram limit 133mhz, try to loose the timing n use 1T will gives u higher result, 2T sucks in performance

How do you mirror finishing d based? Using lapping method? I saw the thread regarding this method b4 but dono where..  unsure.gif  unsure.gif
Is 1T can be applied to all mobos with dual channel?

Thanx.  biggrin.gif

i'm not sure on s939 mobo since i hvnt involve myself into it yet tongue.gif for my knowledge, ya it's more on the ram urself, most of the mobo today can set 1T or 2T in bios, it shouldnt be a problem if u r using 2 sticks, not 4 smile.gif

once i owned 2 stick d43 last time, it can really clock high at 2T but cant set to 1T even at 200mhz, it's a double sided ram... i tested with my frens d43, it's single sided n detected at 1T at default, but single sided cant clock high tongue.gif

it's better to wait sifu to clear the things out, i'm still a noob huh.gif

i'm using icute twin fan last time to oc current rig, result is +3.3v can go as low as 3.0 while +12v go as low as 11.45v, fluctuates very often ha, but hvnt kaboom yet, maybe i'm using voltage regulator?
