nailed the culprit...i think i got a bad stick...tried one stick at a time...1st one can do 220@2226 with 3.20vdimm...ran for 10hrs...no error...the second one...at 200@2226 with 3.20vdimm...70K of errors without finishing a single round...i did full test...so, set the timing down to the spd...200@2.5338 with vdimm 3.20v...same results...tons of errors...i tested it on yellow dimm...so changed to orange...same result...using 510-2 bios which is optimized for bh5/utt type of rams
and also...that bad stick couldnt load windows at spd...always got that SOB BSOD screen...now using windows using the good stick...aiya...hate to do the RMA thingy...
*
as in ur case u got a bad stick....me however are stick which are bad on overclock but runs well on stock speed...so how to RMA...

wished it failed on memtest at stock speed so i can RMA it...hahahaha.....but at the sticker it stated 2.5-3-3-7 but in CPUZ the default value is 2.5-3-3-8...hmmmm can saman OCZ for the misleading info ahh????hahahahha...

wanna be the first malaysian to saman OCZ...kakekekkeke... shakehead.gif

Its normal for RAM manufacturers to do that, OZC pc3200 EL rated timing is at 2-2-2-5, but SPD rated it at 2-3-3-8 if im not mistaken. But then if you can run at the rated timing SPD timing is no big deal. Antonio try burning in again, this time with high vdimm and loose timing. Dont forget to put some active cooling on the RAM.

OCZ warranties the ram to run at default speeds with default voltage. In the case of the value VX, it's 200Mhz at 2.5-4-4-8 with 2.6v.

Also, keep in mind that your ram may just need a couple of weeks worth of burn-in.

but the stock rating...or spd should be achieved without burning laa...the first line is ok...burning is done when u want to achieve higher than what is rated...this is like buying Maggie Ayam Flavor...but when u want to eat it, you need to prepare your own chicken soup or something...it should be "Cepat Dimasak Sedap Dimakan drool.gif "... so in other word (beside the maggie ads)...take out the sticks from the packaging, plug it in, and run it at stock rated speed and you should achieve it...or am i misunderstood the mesg? rolleyes.gif
but then...everybody is burning their ram sticks...so np actually, just gatal tangan want to post in here biggrin.gif

rezzz!.. any information about divider for my motherboard........

dreamkiller Posted Today, 01:39 PM
what's the best temperature monitoring software other than core center

babyelf i cannot find nothing with dram divider

jus found this fsb startup
raise the HTT from 200 to what ever value u want to O/C...save settings...reboot...see what happends...if got tittttt titttttt tittttt sound then ur ram has problem wif the speed...so press insert while booting then lower htt see what happens....

ALWIZ REMEMBER

while juz raising HTT without touching other settings u might wanna know that ur HT Speed is already more than 1000mhz...the instability would really easy to happend....its better that u read through 1st on how to overclock an AMD 64 bcoz it is slighly diffrent..these are some tips on how to overclock easy..(but not too high)

vcore 1.55v
vdimm 2.8v
RAM latency 2.5/3-4-4-8 (try this first for beginners)
RAM Speed 200
HT X 4
HTT/FSB = Raised to 250 by 10 or 5 increments from 200...
pci/agp lock = 67/34

Hope this helps...

and about PSU...u should never in the first place even think of using it...throw it away...coz its like a time bomb which waits patiently for the time to blow up....get Acbel coz its cheap...get OCZ or Antec NEO or TTGI coz its powerfull...get a Ultra x-connect coz its cun.... tongue.gif

The core center try to download the latest version which is......i dunno...my MSI Neo2 blew up last 2 months....so i dunno any updates for MSI...

What do you mean by that,

What RAM is that... even cheap KVR capable of CAS 2 at stock...
Btw CAS doesn't matter anymore, RAS# to CAS# and RAS# precharge are most important values to look after...

What makes the cheap KVR suffers on performance is because RAS# to CAS# and RAS# precharge values must be set at  4 when attempting higher FSB/HTT. But then again, if you are gamers, you wouldn't notice slight increment in fps 3-4-4-8 gives instead of 2-2-2-5, the price difference just don't justify the needs of getting one. (unless you are benchmark freaks)
