Hehe those settings aren't stable at all. I took that screenie minutes after WinXP was installed hence no stability tests yet. I got 3 pairs of 1GB ram to play with now. BH5, BH6 and Twinmos UTT. So many sticks, so little time. smile.gif

Hopefully I can make 260FSB stable. Will post CPU OC screenie once I get it done.

Attached Image Heya guys. really need ya help here. I'm a total noob in AMD OCing. Juz bought diz new rig less than a month. Yet, manage to play around wif d FSB to get 1.94Ghz. Attached my CPU-Z screenshot 2 act s a reference 4 u guys. Can sum1 actually help me in OCing diz rig? 1.94Ghz n CPU Temp is 47 Degress. Diz r sum of my primary question s a start.

1. How can we reach the 1:1 ratio? I mean how do we determine that?
2. How can others' AMD 64 3000+ reached multiplier @ X10 ? Mine only X9 wooo.
3. Is high voltage harmful 2 any component of the system?
4. Does all d OC adjustment being take place in Bios? or can I juz manipulate from Abit's OCGuru Software?

Realy need a sifoo in OCing. Lookin 4ward to u guys's replies....

1. 1:1 can be set in bios.. ie setting the cpu n ram both at 200 ..
2. multi x10 is for socket 754.. 939 only x9 [not sure bout newcastle]
3. yes..its harmful.. but some rams do like high V at high speed.. same goes to the proc..
4. correct, OC also can be done via s/w.. but s/w OC is for testing b4 setting it in bios wink.gif

Not really that good with the stock fan...it's at least 8C higher at the same vcore/speeds.

Had to ghetto mount the Delta and this was done at an intake temp (probe near the cpu fan's intake) of 18C. Totally whack the aircon until the lowest reached temps.

Didn't measure as its under aircon....so can safely assume about the same as the HSF intake temp of 18C

18C ambient temps? You must have a powerful aircond then hehe!

Hey guys, about time I posted my results here:

user posted image

Running 245 2-2-2-8 with Twinmos SP at 3.5vdimm. Only been through one burn in session at 200 3.4vdimm. Need to burn in this sucker more before I get higher HTT biggrin.gif

EDIT: Did a few more tests later and swapped my Twinmos between the slots. Memtest is wayy much more stable. Here's a new screenie with 2.8Ghz! Btw, all results were achieved using the stock cooling. Temps shot up to 68-69C while doing 1M superpi.

Here it is:
