that kinda low readings may have flaw...but gettin in 5% of rated voltage are better choices...the mobo is sucking ur PSU dry....

i prefer usin mbm which provide more accure for all d temp & voltage readin (atleast for my case) instead of smart guardian...

where are the manchester cores? haha.. damn i'll be posting the first manchester cores @ 2.8Ghz soon... must compile them together with prime result to show proof of stability right?

but can we, the X2s have a league of our own? its not fair to compare us with the single cores, our procs have (theoritically) 2X the heat generated as compared to single core procs...

Hey guy, last week I have test AMD Sempron64 0529EPMW with Gigabyte GA-K8NE mainboard BIOS version F6(lastest version), this 0529EPMW too suck! Only can be up to 210Mhz only!!!

210Mhz * 8 = 1680Mhz only.... @.@

i use my Asus K8N OC my Sempron2500+ till 1645Mhz(235*7) only!!!pity.....can't add vcore for my mobo....juz can add ram voltage.....my ram runs at DDR470!!

jian yi u should try play wif gigabyte mobo mem timing
last time i oso spend much time wif my k8ns timing
try set the mem to 1t or 2t see can giv improvement

Giga-byte really suck for overclock?y so many pll complain 1?haih

i can bump out my E6 2800+ easy to 300Fsb and ram clock at 240mhz DT-D43.will try to higher next week.Abit NF8.

Sorry, is 0529EPMW(not 0529BPMW) Sempron64 2600+ I have tried to hit this processor at GA-K8NS also can't hit over than 210Mhz @.@... GA-K8NE(BIOS F6), GA-K8NS(BIOS F17) both of the mainboard also can't hit it over than 210Mhz... Before I use 0530 of Sempron64 2600+ processor I success hit it on 300Mhz with GA-K8NS, AMD Sempron64 2600+ 1.6Ghz @ 2.4Ghz running Super PI 32M pass, but now I using same BIOS, Memory Latancy configure hit this 0529EPMW fail, so I wanna tell everyone, the 0529EPMW 2600+ is rubbish.....

That weird, 1st time i heard sempron unable to hit 300HTT. Mayb ur setting in ur bios limiting u? Do u try play with HTT ratio?

Gosh you were worried too much,here some answer:

1)That voltage is fine,in fact you will be fine until 1.625V(but temp MUST be +-50 degree)

2)The chip voltage is for stability when o/cing,default 1.5V but it safe even at 1.7V

3)Dont worry about the voltage,and DONT use SmartGuardian,it give inaccurate result.Use nV Monitor instead or SpeedFan

Dont worry too much on the voltage,as long as it mantain in safe temperature (under 50 for CPU and system)
