 Panasonic LCD TV Warranty, lightning stroked my TV

Hi everyone. I just bought new Panasonic LCD TV L42S10K.
just this evening...i got call from my mother saying that my LCD caught lightning...the LCD cannot be turned ON anymore...
no sound nor picture came up...

just want to know...can i send it for warranty ?? do warranty cover the lightning strike ??

Usually Warranty doesn't cover Lighting strikes...

dun say lightning strike la....just call them come and check....pretend dunno anything....

Just give them to check it up first, try your luck, pandai pandai give reason.

My TV also same. Lighting strike 3 weeks ago but luckily still can turn on, just the HDMI board was damaged, called LG and they came to my house and fixed it, FOC.

Since he's a friend of your father, that's more like an easy solution.
Just approach him and tell him the set spoiled suddenly and get it fixed or something..just act innocent.gif

Added on April 25, 2010, 10:06 pmhi guys...im just coming home to check my TV...
then i found out that the fuse inside the TV plug is okay
meaning that the problem not come from the lightning...but the TV itself...

fuse okay means no lightning problem rite ??
