Have you tried to flash in Desire Camera with this kernel?

Desire camera works on CM 5.0.6. But, I have a problem to start wifi after installing it. I was getting "Unable to start wifi" when i tried to enable it.

Do you guys have any problem with the GPS? I have problem to get my Nexus One to lock to the satellites. It takes >5minutes to lock. Even it's locked, the traveling speed is showing 1000km/h shocking.gif with my location at somewhere Sumatra. My N1 is on CM 5.0.6.

Nope. I'm using Google Maps and GPS Status app.

It's now back to normal with satellites lock within seconds after I remove the battery for around 5 minutes.

Not a big changes. Just flash to CM 5.0.7-N1-Test1. So Far So Good wink.gif

If you like to try CM 5.0.7-N1-Test1:
http://n0rp.chemlab.org/android/nexus/testing/

Important notes:
- Not compatible with Desire Status Bar (will end up un-finish bootloop even wipe)
- You may need to uninstall the Market updates after using some Metamorph theming, or else you may facing FC after complete download apps at Market.
- Not performing well with previous Pershoot UV/OC Kernel. Pershoot already release a new kernel which working smoothly for CM 5.0.7-N1-T1.
- Pershoot Kernel for CM 5.0.7-N1-T1 Link: http://droidbasement.com/db-blog/?p=322

My Opinion of CM 5.0.7-N1-T1:
- Overall is smoother, at least now can use with Live Wallpaper, not that lagging as in CM 5.0.6-N1
- Still work with HelixLauncher2 v0.7 biggrin.gif
- NoData toggle is working perfectly now, anytime on and off also working. No restart is required to life back the data connection.
- Mounting the SDcard is working all the times now.
- Startup is much much more faster than CM 5.0.6-N1.

* The last picture showing the "3" music player is not included in CM 5.0.7-N1-T1 ROM, just showing off how cool this player are.
*
NoData toggle is built into CM?

Get this if you have a custom rom. No pre-requisites.

You may have heard that FRF50, Froyo, is here for the Nexus One!

I took some quick time out of my weekend-with-family-visitors to repack it so it has no pre-requisites unlike the official release. This also means you can flash via the usual custom recovery image, and i've unlocked the boot image and added ChainsDD's excellent Superuser app too. I've included the radio image in the repack, as it's in the real FRF50 release!

Kitchen, de-odex pack, Superboot, MCR release with all the usual goodies and much more to follow next week.

FRF50 - DOWNLOAD (MediaFire Pro +ROMraid / CoBlitz)

Enjoy!

Hi all, I would like to share my experience on the warranty claim for my unlocked and rooted Nexus One. My phone's earpiece was broken which nothing can't hear from a call. But, it works fine if I plugged in a earphone/turn on the loud speaker. I contacted the Nexus One help support and was told that warranty claim for Nexus One is not available here. Thus, I'll need to send my phone to them in Singapore.

I then sent the phone to a friend in Singapore and asked HTC to collect it. They said they need 3-5 working days on the checking/repair. A few days later I received a call from them asking if I flashed an illegal version of the operating system because the bootscreen looks different. Though, they said the warranty is still valid because that is the earpiece problem not the board. They also warned that if it's something wrong with the board next time, I'll need to pay for the repair.

In total, they spent ~4 working days on my phone. They collected my phone on Tuesday and my friend got it back on the next Tuesday. It was an holiday in Singapore on Monday.

HTC Singapore local hotline: 18002387788 (00886266391147, if you are calling from Malaysia)
