Heya guys,
Any suggestions of any good video converter?
Currently using Cyanogen 5.0.6. If I were to change roms, would my contacts and any other datas and programs be lost?

To the sifus here, need advise / recommendations for the suitable / best kernels and / or radios. Based on my unit, I basically just flash it with Cyanogen 5.0.8. Nothing else. I already try to read and do a bit of research regarding the kernels and radios. But hardly understand it as this is my first Android phone. I really hate to brick my precious one, as previously it could just hanged or stucked at loading screen (the cyan X logo). Please help

MiUi very much looks like an Iphone. Mmm...will try it this weekend. CM6, at least for me is still not stable and keep on restarting on me, especially when using tethering. While using EasyTether, connection occasionally drops, especially when "unplugging" other USB devices. Kind of sad as I like CM. Anyway, MIUI definitely looks different and have lots of different features which i would like to try.

CM6 for me got problems when it comes to certain programs that has widgets. I had to install them on the phone so that there would be no problems using the widgets. Or is it my SD card thats problematic? Mmm And I have to reboot just to have newly set wallpaper to appear.

QUOTE(cleave @ Oct 8 2010, 12:56 PM) Widgets, Live Wallpapers, keyboards and dialers must always be installed to the phone internal memory. Is it? Is this like new features for CM6, because previous version I dont have such problems. All nice and stable. Anyway, trying to install MIUI now and see whats the hype behind it

QUOTE(cleave @ Oct 13 2010, 02:20 PM) You dont need torrent for that. You can get Android from here:- http://android.git.kernel.org/Just use GIT, it's better than torrent. Wow at first glance, it seems complicated (flashing rom simply seems complicated to me at times ) but i will have a look at it and try to understand it. if im stuck, please guru help when the time comes

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Oct 15 2010, 12:38 PM) Not bad, but if original homescreen with Widgets will have slight lag. Overall I am satisfied, just need to fix some minor things like Facebook sync. Are you using the original kernel or do you have other kernel installed? Loving MIUI now, but need something to lessen the battery killing. Just amazed how some could make it last for few days. I dont need more than a couple of days, as long as its not draining as much as now.
