As you will see from the xda link there is no downgrading required, and it works flawlessly now, with voice prompts on time, street names, turn symbols etc.

Just to share with u guys... It "seem" like still got some minor touch up need to be done on current leaked Froyo u use.

"This may be the reason that Google removed the download link that had previously been leaked. So what does this mean? Well, if you are currently having issues with paid apps, new radio discrepancies, etc… then we could look forward to a possible fix if this is true."

Anyone who has AP with wireless N:
Please try the Nexus One's Froyo wlan-N capabilities. It should connect at N mode.

I also found the QuickOffice PDF viewer is much usable now, with the multitouch zooming.

android market slow problem i faced and found out that if you are low on space, it will refuse to download and install the app from market if you get the "low phone space" in your notification bar. Once u clear up space, it will download and install fine.

At least you mention which apps got problem.

I wipe all, and I even remove the ext partition since it no longer using it. Having it just waste of space.

Android Market not slow for me, but got some apps not showing up.

Signal is stronger than before.

Some apps that have problem previously already fixed in recent version:
- Handcent
- ChompSMS (I know it fix even I not using it)
- Better Cut
- Titanium Backup
- Pure Messenger Widgets (all pure widgets already updates and support Froyo now)

** Not much I found having issue on Froyo and more and more developer already start and updates it apps compatible with Froyo.

*** Always remember, apps for widgets must install at internal memory.

Hi Andrew,

You have a very nice icon of Android logo. May I know which program you used to change the icon?

I found that 3G connection not so stable. Which setting you use in network type? WCDMA preferred or WCDMA only?

Thanks.

You can use below two apps to change icon:
- Better Cut version 2.3 (only latest 2.3 support Froyo)
- FolderOrganizer (This one is good in organizing apps, loving it and able to change folder icon, the Yummy! folder was create using it.)

I never change any setting, where you get the WCDMA preferred or WCDMA only. I believe default shall be preferred as if you set to only then it will lost signal when that area no 3G or weak 3G signal.

I used an app called "Network" for area that had weak 3G. I used "WCDMA only" for such area.

Not gain. It just force the network to stay on 3G. Prevent from fall back to edge.
